Shipping Dept.: Be careful when using packaging tape to wrap all the ordered products together. This can damage some of the more sensitive items in the shipment and also makes it a hassle to get all the unwanted adhesive off.
I had to use alcohol to remove all the sticky tape residue. Other than that products arrived OK. Thank you!

The hitch arrived in a very timely manner. The video instruction made the installation a snap. I was able to put this in by myself in less than an hour including the wiring which was a simple snap in.

This is the hitch on my 2011 SRX Class III
Prompt ( three days from order) delivery. Product appears to be as advertised. I believe I can install myself.. in the morning. Wish I had a hoist or some blocking. This hitch, to carry bikes, goes on my wife's pride and joy Cad SRX and she only agreed to this invasion of her car's purity because it promises not to protrude. My challenge is to fulfill that promise. Great product; excellent written and video install instructions, and unbelievably speedy delivery.
This was simple to install. It bolted right in place and the on-line video shows exactly how to install it. Great product and problem free installation. When I bought my SRX, my hitch-mounted bike rack had no place to go. This was a quick, easy and inexpensive solution.

Purchased a Draw-Tite receiver hitch and wiring harness for my 2011 Cadillac SRX. The product arrived promptly. Thanks to the video on the etrailer.com website, I had confidence that I could install it myself. This proved to be true. I had it installed in about 30 minutes, by myself, using just a few simple tools. I did have to borrow a torque wrench to properly tighten the frame bolts. All the mounting holes lined up perfectly with the OEM preinstalled holes. The wiring harness snapped into place without any tools or hassle. I would highly recommend etrailer products !!
Excellent product!! Fit perfectly!! 20 min install including the wiring harness!! Watch the install video first though. Its less than 4 mins long and will save you much more time than that. It points out some things to do involving removal/loosening of some bumper trim plastic first that I wouldn't have thought to do first. Install the wiring harness before the hitch or else its kind of hard to get to. Good idea to have a torque wrench also. Torque specs are 68 Lb-Ft for all 6 bolts. Over tightened bolts loose strength so a torque wrench is a good idea. If your enough of a handy man to own a socket set and a torque wrench, you can install this hitch yourself no problem. You don't even need to jack the car up!!

My etrailer purchase experiance has been a very pleasurable one. The vehicle selection match up process,pre-sale instructional video and follow up customer service was excellent. The hitch and wiring harness was delivered ahead of schedule even though I received a customer service call that my choice of hitches would be delayed a few days. I was given the option at that time to substutite but I elected to stay with my first choice. All hardware installed exaclty as the online instructional video and the enclosed instructions directed . I installed this hitch in about 1.5 hours without a lift.
