Question:
I see several hitches for my 2011 Caddie SRX. Which one is best?

Expert Reply:
There are Class II and Class III hitches available for your SRX. I'd recommend going with a Class III hitch because it's more common and there's more accessories available for the 2 inch Class III receiver.
I'd recommend the Curt Class III, part # C13002. This hitch has a higher capacity than the other hitches, but you might be limited by the towing capacity of your vehicle. Consult your owner's manual for specifics. This hitch is actually the lowest-priced of the Class III options, but Curt makes a high quality product, so you won't be sacrificing anything by going with the lowest priced option.
To complete your towing system, you might also need the following:
• Trailer connector, part # C59496 or # 118259 if your SRX has the tow package
• Ball mount, part # C45010
• Trailer ball, part # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball
• Locking hitch pin, part # BD580400
I've linked you to some installation videos. I hope you'll find them helpful.
