We bought this hitch to use for a bike rack. It was easy to install taking me about one hour with no help. It hangs just below and underneath the bumper fascia so it doesn't stick out to become a trip or bump hazard. We also purchased the Bike Wing 2 bike rack; its RV rating was the deciding factors. It was easy to assemble taking 20 minutes, the most time consuming part being where to place the bike supports and padding. Most importantly the bikes don't make contact with each other or the car. We are definitely happy with both the hitch and bike rack and have no regrets.
2018 Fiesta sedan install. Easy to bolt on in the driveway without a lift or a jack, took less than an hour working by myself. Good packaging from etrailer, simple instructions. I paid a little more for 3 day shipping and it arrived in two. Couldn't be happier.
The swagman is well constructed easy to assemble, locking mechanism great no need for cable locks for the bikes. Shipment was fast

Was skeptical at first, and had several, "what if...", but the hitch receiver ended up being such an awesome purchase. I've been taking my bike (using a 1up bike rack for 1 bike) with no issues. Highly recommend 10/10

The price was very good. I searched other companies and they wanted much more for the Draw-Tite hitch. Installation was really pretty much right on the money. If I had a lift it would be easier. The videos were very helpful. A couple of minor issues but nothing that could not have been figured out. Great product, great service.

A year later, everything is still good. No complaints. The hitch is used practically every week for most of the year. Good product, good service.
Shipping was fast (and free thanks to a promotion) and the hitch arrived in great condition. Install was pretty simple; I didn't even have to raise the vehicle up. It was a bit difficult threading the wire through the frame, but bending it a bit helped. Saved a lot of $$$ by DIY!

I have bought 3 car hitches and now a Tow Bar, Baseplate, Supplemental Braking and wiring to flat tow my car with my Motorhome. The hitch was designed specifically for the car and bolted on using existing holes. The directions were easy to understand and follow. I did have to clean excess paint in the receiver tube. That was an aggravation I souls have done without. All infall it was about what I expected. I will likely do business with etrailer in the future.
Compared to how frustrating most hitches can be to install, this thing was a breeze! I installed it in under an hour. Every bolt lines up very well, and the snake tool works great! No cutting of any body parts or frame, just nuts and bolts! The most difficult part was tightening the most outside U-bolt nut. For this you will need to either have a long extension on your socket wrench, or use a regular wrench at an angle due to the bumper edge blocking the "line of sight" to the bolt. I would recommend having a helper just to get the hitch connected to the U-bolts and the nuts started. From then on out, it's easy to do by yourself.
Super nice part!!! Packed well and painted nice too. Their site was dead on for the right part, where [online] almost got me with a hatch back tow hitch!!! Im glad etrailer showed me exactly what I needed. The directions are a little sketchy at first. I was not sure what the fishing wire was for, but after a few minutes or reviewing the part, I figured it out. Fact it, the fishing line is super important and the ONLY way to get the hitch mounted up (great invention)!!! All in all, I love it. fast shipping, good price, looks great, and installs in about 20 minutes with one wrench. NICE!!!
Easiest installation one could imagine, I had all bolts with nuts on them in minutes! Tightening them took longer than that. Tip for Fiesta sedan owners - there is a plugged hole in the trunk on drivers side, next to the body vent. Ideal place for wiring, just remove the rubber plug. The only thing I didn't like is the hitch ball mount is sticking out too far for my liking, my other car has it much closer to the real bumper.
Loved the tracking system along with the fast, free shipping. Installation was a breeze once I found the right support to hold the drawbar up while the initial U-bolts were installed. Everything lined up great and the instructions were clear. A u-joint on the socket wrench proved handy for the outboard sides of the u-bolts which were up under the plastic bumper facia. Installed our bike rack and took off for the trail. Based on the heavy construction and liberal welds we expect years of usage despite the weight of the bikes and rack and the resulting torque. Highly recommend for other Fiesta owners.
Very easy to install to my 2017 Ford Fiesta, especially with 2 people (one to hold the hitch in place, while the other screws in the bolts). However, the receiver is really tight so we had to grease the hitch and hammer it in and out a few times (and up & down side to side while it was inside the receiver) to get it to loosen up a little. Still a little more work needed on that. I am hopeful that after hammering the hitch in & out of the receiver a few more times that it won't be such a tight fit, because that will make it difficult to haul anything when you can't get the hitch on & off your car without a hammer. Not trying to make enemies with my neighbors....

Car was actually a 2018 Fiesta Sedan. The fit was perfect( I used the part number for a 2017 Fiesta Sedan.
Couldn't be happier with another great deal from E Trailer. Paid extra for 3 day shipping and it arrived in 2 days. Installed hitch and wiring harness in 1 hour and 15 minutes start to finish. Looks factory installed when complete. Hitch lined up great with mounting holes and fish wire makes it a snap to install bolts from access holes.
Quick delivery. Fit was perfect. Holes lined up exactly. Two issues in the installation, one bolt was very difficult to get a wrench on especially a torque wrench. Got it in the end. :)
Had to use a down stream hole to thread the bolt and washer. The bolt and washer would not fit into the installation hole.
I was able install the hitch by myself.
Overall, I was very pleased with this product and installation.
Powder coating flaking off out of the box. Premium price, inferior quality, at least as far as the coating on the hitch. Time will tell if the rest of the product is junk. Draw Tite used to be a quality product. Not sure when thst changed, but first impressions are it is no longer.

Sometimes the powder coating can be flakey with hitches. If it is down to bare metal I recommend touching up the hitch with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum. It is a good idea to have on hand as over time the hitch will experience scratches due to road debris.

Well constructed. Instructions were not too difficult. Hitch receiver sleeve was tight. Needed to hammer hitch shaft thru a couple of times to loosen up opening. (But better than a sloppy fit)
I received the hitch VERY QUICK! As a regular do it myself kinda guy, I had it installed in 45 minutes using basic tools after removing it from the box and reading the instructions. 2 thumbs up for etrailer hitches!
Have been ueising my trailer hitch for one year - no problems. Took it to a local shop and they installed it for $75.
etrailer videos are helpful etrailer is clear on what will fit your vehicle insulation was easy I had absolutely no proublems from ordering delivery to install DIY easy
I bought this hitch so I would put a cargo carrier on my Fiesta and increase my load capacity .The hitch was suprisingly easy to install in under an hour and appears to be very well made. Definitely would recomend.
