To find out the answer to your question about hitch compatibility I compared all available hitches for the 2003 Tacoma and the 2003 Sequoia to see if any one of these is confirmed to fit on both.

The two linked pages display the hitches offered for these two vehicles. Unfortunately the two vehicles use different hitches. You can see from the photos that the hitches for each are quite different from one another and neither would fit on the other vehicle.

The hitches that we offer for the 2003 Sequoia, the Curt # 13440 and the Draw-Tite # 75126, both offer no-drill installation using included hardware, and both share a 5000-lb towing capacity. The linked video shows the entire installation process and a helpful article is included too.
