Your 2005 Toyota Sequoia can be equipped with a Class III trailer hitch receiver and we offer three options from Curt, Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch. As all are rated equally for 500-lbs tongue weight and 5000-lbs maximum towing capacity I suggest the Curt # 13440 since it is the most popular among owners of the Sequoia. This hitch installs without drilling or welding using included hardware and provides a 2-inch receiver opening. A video is included for reference.
Along with this hitch you might consider the versatile and cost-effective etrailer Ball Mount Kit # EBMK4 that includes a ball mount, interchangeable ball system, and a pin and clip.
You will need to check with your local dealership for a wiring harness.
