Question:
HI, My battery trays are made from plastic and have other components attached, such as washer fluid tank, electrical connectors and coolant degas bottle. Are these battery heat pads compatible melting concern with these materials or should I go with a heat wrap blanket instead? 2012 Ford F350 Super Duty 6.7L diesel Thanks

I spoke to Kat's Heater's for their take and using the Battery Heating Pad # KH22401 is fine under the battery on a plastic battery tray. If you can keep it away from the other components that will be better but since the battery itself will be absorbing the majority of the heat it will be unlikely to damage any of them.
They definitely recommend against using the Thermal Wrap # KH22200 because the heat would be coming from the outside of the wrap making direct contact with components and therefore they would be absorbing the heat first hand.
