We carry a Curt front mount hitch that has been confirmed as a fit for your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, but the part # C31015 that you referenced only fits new Rams so it would not work for you.
Instead you would want the # 31604 as it has been confirmed as a fit for your truck.
