Today we're going to review Part Number PRS70756 and this is the Pro-Strobe Hercules LED Amber Dash Light. This will let you outfit your vehicle with the latest in LED strobes. Does increase safety for on job sites and road side stops. Gives a nice solid band of strobe lights and sure visibility to other drivers. Does use 66 high powered LEDs. It'll flash in 12 different patterns or even a solid on setting. On the very top here, you can see it has a nice heavy duty suction cup mount that'll mount virtually anywhere once you put it up against where you're going to mount it and push this lever over when you do that.

You can see that'll suck it in and attach it to wherever you'd like. Then to release it, push that lever back the other way and that'll release it. You'll notice it has a nice adjustable swivel bracket right here. Once you get it in place, you can loosen that knob right here. When you loosen it, you can see that you can then adjust it to whatever angle you want. Once you find the right angle, go ahead and tighten that knob back and it'll hold it at that position. This light is compatible with any 12 or 24 Volt system.

You can see it has a length of wire here. It's an eight foot plug and play power cord. On the end here, it includes this 12 Volt DC adapter that will plug into any 12 Volt outlet. On the adapter itself, you can see there's two switches. The red one is an on and off switch.

Once you plug it into your 12 Volt power supply or 24 Volt power supply, you can push that and it'll turn it on. Then there's a little LED on the side that will light up when you turn it on to show that it's working. Then the other switch, the black one, is an actual toggle switch that'll go back and forth. That actually each time you push it down and release it, it'll change the light flash pattern on the light itself. This adapter is fused to protect the light from any damage. Unscrew that and there's a fuse on the inside. Another thing is, if you want to change the pattern, but you don't want to reach all the way down to the adapter, basically there's a little button on the back here.

You can push that button and that'll also change the flash pattern on the light. This is a very simple plug and play operations, very easy removal. It makes it an excellent choice for every day safety. I'm going to give you a demonstration here. Got a 12 Volt power supply . Actually, let me give you a few dimensions first on the light to give you an idea of the size of this. Overall length from one end to the other end is about 9 3/4 inches. Height of it is about 1 inch and the total depth on it is going to be right at . Let me get you a good depth measurement . Right about 1 3/4 inches. Not a really large light, but it gives off a lot of bright light. What we're going to do is got a 12 Volt power plug right here. We're going to go ahead and plug this in. Then with it plugged in, I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. With the overhead lights off, I'm going to go ahead and turn on the red switch and you can see we have it set on the solid on setting. There's the amber strobes that'll give you the solid on setting. That toggle switch will push it and each time you push it, you can see that it will switch the pattern. Push it again, it'll switch it. Each time you push it, it'll change the pattern. Then I'm going to show you also . We had mentioned that button on the back of the light. If I go ahead and push that, you'll see that'll change the pattern also. You can either change it with that button right up here on the light or the toggle switch on the adapter. We're going to go ahead and turn off the power.
