Today, we're going to take a look at the Peterson 12-volt and 24-volt permanent mount LED amber strobe warning light. Now, this is a nice, low-profile strobe light for your vehicle, provides a warning signal to help increase safety. It is ideal for towing, plowing, warehouse, and even agricultural applications. This light does meet the SAE J845 for the class 2A vehicles. It does offer you six different flash patterns, so it allows you to select what works best for your environment and conditions. And the way you select it, at the very bottom, there's a button here that you just push on, and that'll change the different patterns.

Now, at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some power just to show you the different patterns and how bright it is.They do use LEDs, which are very bright, long-lasting, energy efficient. The lens and the base is polycarbonate construction. It does have a nice amber lens as you can see here. And the lens can be removed by these four screws right here. If you happen to break it, need to replace it, we do sell replacement lenses.

This does permanently install on the mounting surface. It does come with the foam gasket to create a seal. And this is compatible with 12-volt and 24-volt DC systems. The part is made in the USA.A few specs on this: it uses five LEDs. The display is 360 degrees.

Power draw at 12 volts is 1.15 amps, at 24 volts is .48 amps. Give you a few dimensions on this. The base itself, the diameter, edge to edge is right at seven inches. The lens diameter, it's going to be right at 5-5/8 inches. And the total height on the light from the bottom to the very top is 4-9/16 inches tall.

The power wire, you can see it has a red and black power wire. Length on that wire is about 24 inches.So what we're going to do is, I'm going to hook this up to some power now. And with it hooked up, I'll go ahead and turn it on. And you'll see it comes down with our first pattern, which is an on and off pattern. Gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, just to give you an idea, also, how bright it is in the dark. You can see very bright in this room. It lights up the whole room. And then again, to change the pattern, from the very bottom, we'll go ahead and push the button. We'll try to go through them. There's the first one. There's the second one. There's the third. There's the fourth. There's the fifth. There's the sixth. And if we push it again, it goes back to the on/off pattern. So that's all different flashes and how bright it is. We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights.
