Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com Today, we take a look at this etrailer Rope Ring for the E-track systems. Has a 2000 pound working load limit. Now this rope ring tie-down provides an extra anchor point to your E-track in your enclosed trailer. Just to show you what we're talking about, I'm gonna pop up an insert and you can see how that E-track there is in the trailer. With this installed, you can see they can put an hook and S Hook to that. Now this is perfect for using rope, bungees or straps to secure your ATV generator or other heavy object to your trailer.
Application. This will work on both horizontal and vertical E-track and X-track. Just to give you a demonstration, I happen to pull a section of E-track right here you can see, with the slots on it. I'm just gonna turn it this way so you can see how I install the clip. But basically you'll notice on this anchor, it has this lever, spring-loaded lever here.
And what you do with that is to install it, you pick the slot you want to put it in, let's say right here, push it in, go on that side, drop it in, and then when you release it, it locks right into place. Just like that, it's gonna hold it. And then to remove it, just push in on that, go that way, and it'll come right out. Simple as that. Very easy install and removal.
Now this is a steel construction. On the base itself, you can see it's a yellow zinc plating, makes it very strong and rust-resistant. The ring itself, the diameter on the ring is 5/16 of an inch. The inside opening, we measure the inside diameter, one and a half inches. But again, just to show you, push this in, drop it in, locks into place, and you could see, as we mentioned, this will work like it is, horizontally.
If this was on the wall, you could see it would also work vertically. And then to remove it again, just push up on your lever, push it there and drops right out. Simple as that. Now the maximum load or brake strength on this part is 6,000 pounds. The safe working load limit, which would be a third of that, is 2000 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this etrailer Rope Ring for the E-track systems.
I installed E track anchors to the side rails of my aluminum trailer to have more convenient tie down points. I first purchased the attachments with the straps that have a steel triangle. My mistake since i was pulling on them at hard angles causing the fabric straps to start cutting. The heavy duty o ring
tie down solves this problem .

Very loose in the track and I have had a couple of them come out of the track!! I ended up welding a small bit to the swing arms to hold them into the track! I would purchase the more expensive ones next time!
It seems to be well enough made. It did hold my motorcycle upright when trailering. Easy to move in the etrack
