Question:
Hello good morning.. I have a 5 ton Isuzu refrigerated truck... Im wondering what is the best way to install 18 ft long e track/channels on each side of the truck.. I want to make sure its sturdy and safe so when I strap pretty big loads to the side of the walls. Nothing ruins the walls of the truck or makes any holes and its sturdy.. PLEASE let me know ASAP.. thanks again much appreciated...

Hey Shawn,
The E-track you're wanting to install in the back of your truck is just going to need to be screwed into the studs of the walls or into the floor. You'll want some self tapping screws ( # SL99FR) or wood screws ( # SL49FR) that are just thin enough to pass through the mounting holes of the E-track # e62VR and just long enough to bite into the studs without passing completely through them. The more screws the better the hold so you can load up each hole, even if some holes are just passing through thin sheet metal walls and not hitting a stud. If passing through only thin walls with no studs then you can use backing plates like part # e76YR to help secure the tracks.
Once installed you can use anchor points like the # e87HR to secure your loads.
