For loads that need quick hand tension without a ratchet, this 12' E-track cam strap gives you a simple pull-and-lock setup. The soft loop helps draw out slack or wrap around gear, while hook-and-loop ties keep excess webbing under control.
The built-in soft loop gives you a handhold for pulling your 12' strap through the cam buckle, while the cam grips the webbing once you've taken out the slack. E-track fittings at both ends connect your strap to Snap-Loc anchors or standard E-track (each sold separately), giving the load a direct connection to the track system.
The soft loop can wrap around your gear where you don't want a metal fitting at the contact point, or you can thread the E-track end through the loop to tighten the strap around cargo. Hook-and-loop ties secure extra webbing after the cam is set, keeping excess strap from flapping while you travel.
Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Snap-Loc E-Track cam strap tie down. Folks, if you're securing cargo that maybe doesn't need the extra tension of a ratchet strap, a cam strap like this one can make loading and unloading a lot quicker. Instead of working that ratchet back and forth, you can simply pull the webbing through the cam buckle and tighten up the slack with ease. Now, I started off the video with this wrapped up just so you can see what it looks like wrapped up, about the footprint of it.
It does come with this hook and loop strap stitched in from the factory. So I'm just going to take all that out and kind of show you in real time what this looks like as far as unraveling everything. So starting off, you're going to get 12 foot of strap. You're going to have a loop on the one end here. Let's get my hand through here.
I'm just going to show you how big it is. And this is really good because if you need to do something, maybe you need to loop through something where you don't want the metal touching, you have that option, those kind of things. But, again, the cam buckle here is made for automatic tension. I can pull it through tighter and it just stays tight until I loosen it back up, then I can pull it back through. And like I mentioned, that hook and loop black webbing here for wrapping it up is stitched in place.
Two heavy-duty steel zinc-coated tie downs. Those are your anchor points for that E-track. And as you can see from the image on the screen, maybe you want to, you know, get a toolbox or something from rolling around if you're hauling it, you know, from here to there or something of that nature. Just as one example of what you could do with something like this. Again, that loop, if you have things like motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, you don't want the metal to touching them, you could potentially put this maybe around a handlebar or something of that nature or feed it through itself and then have something that's, you know, just webbing on there versus the metal.
So totally up to you. The safe working load limit is a thousand pounds with a safe brake strap, or with a safety rating of 3,000 pounds braking force. So, again, thousand pounds is going to be the max. And, again, everything here that's steel is zinc plated, so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion anytime soon. Tracks work good but the straps I got are terrible. They only pull up snug, you can’t ratchet them down tight. The straps work loose quite often and I have to reattach them. I would not buy them again.
Etrailer supplied the equipment I needed at a great price and shipped the the northwest coast with on days from when I placed the order.
All the e-track hardware and equipment was in stock and arrived packaged very well with no shipping damage.
The e-track is heavy duty, much more than I had expected and it was easy to install.
