Note: Tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this etrailer E-Track anchor point that has a D-ring at the end. So this is gonna go right into your E-Track on your trailer (metal clicks) and give you a tie-down point for your straps. This is what E-Track is. So you have this installed on enclosed trailers or flat trailers like we have here. So we have built-in tie-down points where you can move this anywhere along the track and snap it in place.
It's really easy to put wherever you need it, and you know it's secure. It snaps in there, and you see I'm pulling up on there. It's not gonna come out. The ratchet strap we're using today has the S-hook. So that's not always easy to hook up to your trailer.
You see the side rails here. It's not exactly gonna go around there. And I don't wanna attach it to the strap itself. We might be able to get one over here, but the track is so much easier because everything, every cargo you put on here is gonna be a different size. So you'll want different points to move it to strap something down.
So we'll just go to our D-link here, then pull this tight. (workers chattering) (strap clicks) And then we can ratchet it to secure our cargo. (strap clicks) Now, our anchor's gonna have a safe working load limit of 1,333 pounds. And then it's gonna have a maximum break strength of 4,000 pounds. So just keep that in mind when you're strapping down your cargo.
This strap is gonna be made out of seatbelt-like material, so it's a polyester webbing. So it's not gonna just rip or tear really easily. And then down here you'll see the reinforced stitching. That's because a lot of stress is gonna be put where the loop is on the strap. And it's good to know that it's not gonna just rip apart. The D-ring's gonna have a zinc coating. So is the E-track portion that clips in there too. So if you use this on an open trailer like this, you don't have to worry about the elements bothering it. Overall, I think these are a great accessory to have, especially if you have a trailer with E-track in it already. If you have existing ratchet straps that you want to use, you don't have to buy a whole new kit. It's gonna be a good addition. Now, also over here, etrailer makes ones that go right into the E-track. So they don't have the S-hooks, so they would clip right in. So if that's maybe something more you're looking for, you don't want the S-hook ones, you don't wanna have to buy the accessory, those will clip right in to tie down your cargo. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, and hope this helps.
