Can this item be used with ratchet straps to secure an automobile in an enclosed car hauler that has x-tracks installed?

Hello Jim, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the etrailer E Track Heavy-Duty O-Ring Tie-Down Anchor # e87HR can absolutely be used to secure a vehicle in a trailer with X-track. The O-Ring will attach to E-track or X-track. Securing vehicles is pretty typical application for these. Each one has a 2,000 lb capacity so that covers most any vehicle.
What car will you be securing? A lot of people use these to transport classic cars so just curious if you have something cool haha
