Jeff: Hello, everybody. This Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Demco Kar Kaddy Winch Pawl Repair Parts Kit. Now this will let you repair your Demco Tow Dolly Winch Pawl with this kit. It does work with the Demco Kar Kaddy 3, the Kar Kaddy SS, and the Kar Kaddy X tow dollies.This kit will include everything laid out here on the table. Includes this winch pawl ratchet, the stainless steel winch pawl bushing, it goes on the inside there.
The winch pawl spring, and includes one hex head bolt with the epoxy on the bolt itself, and a flat washer. These parts are made in the USA, but that should do it for the review on this Demco Kar Kaddy Winch Pawl Repair Parts Kit..

Absolutely correct replacement for my Demco KK260. I was very excited to be able to get these and get my winch back in working order. I was prepared to make this piece but for the price, I was better off just ordering it. Quick shipping, and securely packed. Very pleased.

What I ordered, had one issue the spacer would not fit in the leaver but a simple file to smooth out the edges worked. Giving 5 stars because shipping was fast and I got it in 4 days to NJ. Cast aluminum parts so they have little control over the quality control.

This is the lock for the lever I needed to repair my wore out and missing Kat Kaddy car dolly tire ratchets. Very happy, they work like they’re brand new(because they are).

Took a couple of minutes and a 9/16" socket to install. Diagram included with package made the install easy. The original pawl came up missing when I went to take my car off the dolly(700 mile trip). Called etrailer and received the part on the timeline anticipated.

- Is Demco Kar Kaddy Winch Pawl Repair Parts Kit Left/Right Side SpecificHey Michelle! The Demco Kar Kaddy Winch Pawl Repair Parts Kit # DM89VR can be used on both the left and the right side winch. The parts are the same for both. See the attached photo.
view full answer... - Replacement Parts for Right Side Ratchet Winch for Demco Kar KaddyIf the L shaped part you're referencing is the pawl ratchet, you can use the # DM89VR. This includes the bushing, spring, bolt, and washer as well. The pawl # DM05450 is available on its own but Demco recommends using the kit to replace all of those parts when making a repair. If you're referring to the L shaped bracket that hangs down with the spring attached at the top then it is not available as a replacement. The only choice would be to get a new assembly # DM5433.
