Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this replacement hardware kit for your etrailer E-Track bucket mount. Now that's going to be a storage bin that you can use to add some extra stuff in your trailer, or your garage, but if one of those mounts that actually hooks into the E-track breaks you're outta luck. Ours obviously isn't broken today, (metal clinking) but we're gonna show you regardless how to replace one of these sections with nothing but a single wrench. Let's check it out. So you can take your replacement hardware and then a three-eights wrench.
(metal clinking) And if you've still got something attached to your storage bin, let's say maybe this latch mechanism is just broken but the rest of it's still attached, then just go onto the inside and remove the two lock nuts. (metal rattling) Once those two nuts have been removed, the carriage bolts on the other side with that latch mechanism should pop out (metal clinking) and then the backing plate will also get removed. And when you're ready to go and attach the new one we'll just take these same pieces and they attach in the reverse order. So that plate, those holes are offset. Just line it up and match it up with the holes on the storage bin there.
And then take the mount for your E-track, slide those carriage bolts through the top two holes, and line it up with the storage bin. Hold it in place and secure it on the other side using the two lock nuts. When everything is loosely in place go back through and just tighten it down. (wrench rattling) Doesn't need to be crazy tight, just enough to be snug and make sure nothing's loose. Now if you need to do that for both mounts then obviously do it on both sides.
Once you're done with that though, you're done. You can hook it back up wherever you normally keep it or wherever you're gonna put it next and you're good as new. It's nice that all the replacing hardware does come with it so you don't have to sacrifice the whole bin just because one small piece is broken. It's got that same yellow zinc platting on there so it's gonna be resistant to rust and corrosion over time, and keep your bin operating as new. Thanks for watchin'.
