Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Atwood Power Guard vented battery box. Now this box is designed for your U1 series batteries, and it includes a hold down strap. As you can see here, it's gonna keep this box stable when the water's working against you. It is vented, as you can see here at the top, and so it's going to help vent that hydrogen gas within.
So you're not gonna have to worry about this containing gases or what have you. This is going to work with a maximum battery height, including the terminals of seven and 7/8 inches tall. This is heavy duty plastic, so it's going to resist flex, sun and salt for long-term use. Giving you a look at the inside here, the interior dimensions, looking at the length first, about eight and a quarter inches long, five and a half inches wide. And as I mentioned, the maximum height's gonna be with the terminals on that battery about seven and 7/8 inches.
So putting the lid back on here. The overall height exterior wise is about eight and a half inches tall. The overall length right at 11 inches end to end. The overall width about seven and a half inches. This does include hardware that you see there on my table.
That's going to help you install those brackets so you can run the strap through those brackets at the base to keep this nice and secure. The strap is pretty robust, so I think it's gonna hold up really well for you and stand up against the elements that it's gonna be constantly exposed to.
