This heavy-duty, coiled cable adapter is compatible with a 7-way RV blade trailer socket on the vehicle and adapts it to work with a 4-way flat or 5-way flat connector on the trailer.

Great product. We used it with our Toyota 4 runner to tow our boat. Since the Toyota 4 runner electrical plug in is so far behind the rear bumper, we needed this extension in order for there not to be any issues with the wiring for boat trailer to become disconnected from being too short. The cord being coiled allows the extension to be as long as needed without possibly being drug on the ground.
Looks a little short. I will try it to morrow.

Its still holding up great. It generates a lot of interest and other boaters/trailer haulers are impressed by it.
This is a good connector to have if you pull various trailers with your truck. The coil gives a little extra in the event that the trailer pigtail is short. Second one I have purchased.

Still working great a year later.
Bought this adapter because my "new to me" Ford F150 had a 7 way connection and my boat trailer had a 5 way flat...
Product arrived just as advertised, appears to be high quality, and took about 5 seconds to get my boat trailer and new truck hooked up.
All of the lights on the trailer worked great, and I didn't have to run a wire from the reverse light on my truck ( which you would need to do if going from a 4 way flat to a 5 way flat in order to disengage the surge brake on the trailer)... Very good product, fast shipping! Thanks again guys for the help!

Great wish I had it years ago.I dont have to worry about the plug pulling out when I go around a corner.
This is a robust connector and just the right length -- not so long that it drags on the ground and long enough to keep from pulling trailer wiring during turns. It is a heavy duty connector with heavy insulation that should wear a long time.

This is a high quality trailer cable from an American company. it is exactly what I was looking for and expected. etrailer was also very responsive and timely.
Needed a longer cord between my truck and boat trailer since I changed the length for the ball mount. This works perfectly with it and I can use it with my other ball mount of different lengths.
Excellent quality. but after adding 4" heightener to level the tow bars to the Jeep, which added 6.5 inches in length it was too short and not useable.

Needed a wring converter and couldnt figure out which one. Called etrailer and Karen found what I needed within a couple of minutes. It arrived on schedule and I used it today.
I'm replacing my old connector from my boat to my truck and this 7 way to 5 way flat is heavy duty enough to do the job and the flex coil keeps the added length from dragging the road.
etrailer has some of the greatest customer service I have experienced in a long time , I ordered several things to outfit my toad and from start to finish they were a class company to work with .
