Question:

I have a 2016 Ford F-150 and I just bought a boat. The boat has a 4-flat connector on it, but has 6-wires wired into it. The trailer has surge brakes. I need an adapter to connect that to my 7-Round on my truck. My trailer has surge brakes, so it needs to sense that the truck is in reverse in order for the surge brakes to disengage. Do you offer a product like this? I had one and lost it. It was just a straight black connector with a 7-round on the truck end and a 4-flat on the other. Thank you

The function you are referencing is reverse lockout, which would be found on a 5-way connection that looks very simliar to a 4-way. Assuming you have a 5-way, what you are looking for is a 7-way to 5-way adapter since you have surge brakes. I recommend the Mighty Cord 7-Way RV Style to 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector Adapter # A10-7275VP. This will plug into the 7-way on your 2016 Ford F-150 and allow you to connect to your trailer.
