2010 GMC Acadia - Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector

  • Custom Fit
  • Trailer Hitch Wiring
  • 4 Flat
  • No Converter
  • CURT

Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your GMC Acadia with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into 7-way OEM tow package wiring harness - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Features:

  • Provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Designed for use with a factory tow package that has a 7-way connector
    • Retains 7-way connector functionality
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points behind rear bumper
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector
  • Limited 1-year warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper. Simply plug the harness in-line with your existing 7-way wiring harness.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Quick & easy trailer wiring harness replacement . took less than 15 minutes

1 year &amp still works great, very easy plug &amp play setup. I recommend putting a small amount of white lithium grease on those connecting, helps protest against rusting.

This product was exactly what was portrayed on line. Wiring harness was very simple to install and works extremely well.

by:

Yup. Still works after a year in operation. The only thing I am unhappy with is my vehicle thinks there is always a trailer connected and the backup sensors and side sensors are automatically disabled.

by:

Works well easy plug and play

by:

When I finally installed it about 3 months ago, the plug in connectors did not match what I had on my truck. I ended up just cutting them off and splicing them into the connector from my truck

by:

2018 Dodge Ram Pickup

I installed my Curt T-Connector today to my 2018 RAM 1500 Sport 4x4 Crew Cab. The mileage on the truck is at 10679km's. Although warned that the spare tire might require removal (via web site info from fellow RAM owners) that was not the case as there was enough room to remove the OEM connector (which is the short end of the assembly) from the factory housing. The actual disconnect and re-connect took only a couple minutes. I spent a about 15 or 20min's trying different wiring run routings for the aux. four connector plug wiring run. Some tie-wraps where installed to snug things up out of the way and I was done. I also dosed the connections with a shot of Krown 77 lube/rust inhibitor. I'm in the "Great White North" so salt use on roads is a given during the winter months. A quick test run of the lights and I was done. The build quality of the T-Connector is very good..equal to OEM or better I'd say.

I wanted to ask if your 2001 Chevy Silverado came with the tow package? Did you already have a factory seven way? If not, the part # C59236 would be the better fit.

by:

Fast delivery, and easy to find products. Second trailer hitch I bought from e-trailer. Great products

by:

Was exactly as stated in description. Just unplugged old plug and plugged in new one. I had two plugs to replace and added an extra "T" plug for another 4 prong. It only took less than 15 minutes to install all 3. Customer service is wonderful. Everything I have bought from ETrailer is top notch and delivered on time or earlier.

Working GREAT. Easy to install

by:

Awesome!! I bought an OPT7 triple LED light bar for my Chevy Colorado and I didn’t want to splice wires or lose a whole lot of time trying to figure out how to wire it up so I googled and I came across a gentleman who used this product and Im very thankful for this connection and my light bar works smoothly and I have full use of the reverse camera AND I don’t have any wire mess outside or underneath my truck! Easy to install, my first time doing this and it literally took me about 2 minutes, if that! Definitely would recommend this product to anyone with a truck!! Thank you guys!!

by:

by:
2011 Ram 1500

Arrived on time and just what I need.

by:

Perfect fit. Took 20 minutes to install wire harness and hitch receiver.

by:

This T-Connector is working great. Installation was simple. It was truly plug n play.
I used it to connect a LED light bar on back of truck; allowed me to install the light without using the existing trailer connector, so it is still available.

Its been a year since I installed the T-Connector. And it is still working like brand new no issues with this connector. Provides a great convenience not having the share the OEM trailer slot.

by:

Did not match my plug into car. So could not use and returned.

Can you please provide a picture of the underside where the plug is supposed to be located? For vehicles with the factory tow package; your install may require additional components or may be used as a replacement harness.

  • 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2016 Toyota Tundra
If you have a factory trailer wiring connector you could use the part # HM11141835 as a way to install a 4-way easily. Or if you have the factory 7-way connector (which most likely you do), you could use the part # C55384 to splice a 4-way easily into the 7-way wiring harness.

  • Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude to Tow Boat Trailer
For your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee the trailer hitch I recommend is the Draw-Tite # 75699, which is a 2" receiver with a maximum tongue weight of 750 lbs and a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. This hitch has gotten universal praise from our customers, with over 450 reviews giving it a nearly unanimous 5 stars. The accompanying photo shows how the hitch looks when installed on a Grand Cherokee. For a wiring harness, if you do not have a factory tow package you need the T-One Vehicle...

  • How to Hook Up 3rd Brake Lamp on Aftermarket Roll Bar
A company that installs truck bed camper shells would know more about this, but I'd be happy to provide what help I can. A T-Connector like # C55384 wouldn't work because the brake lamp signal is carried on the same circuit as the turn signals which would cause the 3rd brake lamp to blink with the turn signal. You'll have better luck finding the circuit that feeds the CHMSL or 3rd brake lamp. The easiest way to do this is to gently remove the existing 3rd brake lamp and use a circuit...

If the dome light runs off of the running light circuit and the wiring on the camper shell has a converter that separates out the combined turn signal and brake lights to only include the brake light then this harness will work. However it is probably not likely that the camper shell is wired this way. If that is...
