For your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee the trailer hitch I recommend is the Draw-Tite # 75699, which is a 2" receiver with a maximum tongue weight of 750 lbs and a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. This hitch has gotten universal praise from our customers, with over 450 reviews giving it a nearly unanimous 5 stars. For a wiring harness, if you do not have a factory tow package you need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118727. If you do have the factory tow package you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55384 to add a 4-flat. Since you are going to be towing, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
