Great product. Fast and easy install. Took longer to get the tools out than it did to install.
So easy to install. 2” hike saw is perfect size. I would suggest putting the shorter plug through the hole first and then the long one second, common sense to me suggested doing the longer end first, but it will not fit if you do it in that order. Connecting the wiring took under 60 seconds, the entire process should take you under 15 minutes and it works fantastic.
So easy to install. I'm not very mechanical. Ok I'm not mechanical at all and I installed this by myself just by watching the etrailer how-to video for this item. Installed in my 2017 F-250 in minutes and works great. Now my fifth wheel connects inside the truck bed without hanging over the tailgate.
I loved the customer service I received Amy was so very helpful in helping me in ordering my items I shopped with etrailer a few times now and every time the customer service representative were very helpful I received my orders within a couple of days now my hubby installed the fifth wheel hitch and we are satisfied with the parts now we are so ready to go camping.

Fit like a glove and I've never had to touch it again. works as intended.
Cable arrived in excellent condition with all the parts and clear instructions. 9' length was perfect for placing the in-bed connection forward of the wheel well in my 8' truck bed as I have tool boxes installed aft of the wheel wells. Installation was a breeze - Took 30 minutes once I borrowed a hole saw and drilled the requisite hole in the bed sidewall.
This product is just fantastic. I was not looking forward to cutting into my new 2020 F350 wiring harness to install a connector for my slide in camper. Thankfully, while I was researching how to wire in the 7 pin connector I ran across this breakout cable that connects in line to the trucks trailer package connectors so there are no wire splices or modification to the trucks wiring required. They also had great videos on how to install the product on the three major truck brands.
The hitch is great, and the feedback and information from etrailer is even better!! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was due to installation. The video did not accurately represent my vehicle. (2019 F350 SRW 4x4) If you have a 48 gallon fuel tank and the FX4 package, the hitch is an incredibly tight fight. Half of the bolts are impossible to torque, so I recommend using a good impact and thread locker.
Just finally got the opportunity today to install the wiring harness on my 2019 Ford
F350 super duty. From start to finish the whole procedure took about 45 minutes. From drilling a hole in the bed to connecting the wire's together, what a breeze didn't even have to lower my spare tire. Tested it works great. Great product thank you etrailer.
Harness has been flawless, no issues with it. One area of concern remains the mounting of the “socket”. Even with the tight space, I would have preferred some sort of backing plate to secure the screws. Just having them holding into the sheet metal bed wall may become an issue over time. Overall, I’m happy with this product.
