Some trailer wiring harnesses pull power straight from your car’s tail light circuits, but this one doesn’t. The Curt T-Connector uses a powered converter that draws voltage directly from the battery, keeping the computer and lighting systems isolated from any short circuits or overloads that might happen in the trailer wiring. That design keeps your car’s electronics safe while giving full, steady power to the trailer lights.
You don’t have to cut or splice any wires with this harness. The connectors plug in right behind the tail lights, so you can hook everything up quickly and cleanly. It’s a straightforward process for anyone doing their own install, even if it’s their first time wiring a trailer.
At the end of the harness is a standard 4-flat connector that gives you running lights, brake lights, and turn signals on your trailer. It’s the common setup for small and mid-size trailers and keeps everything working just like it should once you’re hitched up and ready to go.
The system is designed to run a dedicated ground connection and uses fused protection on the power line. That means fewer voltage drops, less chance of blown fuses, and steady lighting no matter how often you tow. Once installed, it’s a dependable setup you don’t have to think about again.

Almost perfect but my running lamps didnt come on. I figured it out after some fiddling. My LED lights on my car were reducing the voltage so I spliced into a hot wire to power my running lamps. Otherwise perfect.
