Yes, the two are absolutely compatible! You do have the correct fit for the B&W Gooseneck as well as the Companion slider for your 1999 Dodge Ram, and the two will work together superbly; the two parts you need are the following:
- Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1394-5W
- B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider # BWRVK3400-5W
While the title says "Custom Underbed Installation Kit" this is the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch, just with a different label. The # BWRVK3400-5W is also the model 3405, it's just a different part number for our site, but it is the 20k Companion slider and will fit directly in the Turnoverball, giving you the best possible overall towing set up for your '99 Ram.
The Turnoverball is considered by most to be the highest quality gooseneck, and the Companion to be the best quality 5th wheel hitch, so you are getting the best of both worlds with this combo. The only other thing you may need if you don't have one is a 5th wheel/gooseneck wiring harness for your '99 Ram, with the correct part being the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56001.
