Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at Curt's Stretchable Cargo Net. So this is going to be ideal for your roof baskets and it's a perfect fit for the Curt Roof Basket. It's going to be also good for any hitch mounted cargo carriers, or just to basically keep everything in the bed of your truck. It is going to be an elastic cording as you can see here, it's going to keep all that nice and secure. It is going to stretch about 38 inches wide to about 44 inches long, and that's before it starts stretching.
As you can see here, I have a lot of wiggle room, so it's going to be able to fit even the larger cargo carriers that you may have. So we are going to have some plastic hooks here with a loop, so you can put your finger in there, stretch it down and these plastic hooks aren't going to damage or scratch any of your cargo carriers, cargo baskets, or the bed of your truck. It's just going to go underneath here like so, and snap into place. And this is just going to be a great way just to get everything sucked together a little bit just until you have maybe less wind noise down the road and just give you more peace of mind. So this Curt Cargo Net was made specifically for the cargo basket by Curt. And honestly, if you have one like this, I would definitely go ahead and buy the Curt Net as well.
And it's really going to fit all the mid rain size cargo baskets. So I would definitely recommend this to you guys.So this is what it looks like fresh out of the box, and it's really easy to install, so let's just go ahead and do that. So for the bed of your pickup, all you really need to do is utilize the hooks on the inside of your cab and always do the one towards the cab of your truck first. And you can stretch them all the way out. This is going to be useful in a variety of different ways, it just depends on what you're hauling, but as you can see, it does stretch quite a bit.
Perfect. Well, everyone, that's going to do it for a look at the Curt Cargo Net.

Multiple hooks and stretchable cords make this cargo net easy to use, even on roof-mounted cargo carriers. Designed for use with Curt cargo basket C18115.Seemed of good quality and well made. However, it had too much capacity to work well for the tiny amount of stuff I have in my roof rack. So I did return it.
Good product...easy to install. However, instructions not so great. Did not fix cosmetic front pairing as parts don't seem to match and instructions lack detail. Initial drive around the block seemed hassle free. Will need to do the long one before it gets the full ok. Etrailer folks were great. Were quick to follow-up and recommend this as replacement for the original Rola cargo basket order. Seems to work.
The open clips make this net hard to use. It’s constantly hooking onto itself. I’d recommend finding one with closed clips to prevent this issue.
This is a terrible product. It ripped on the very first trip.
Very well made. Light but very strong. Easy to assemble.
Awesome cargo net, etrailer was so wonderful to work with. Ordered this and a couple of other products. Everything arrived on time. Would recommend them to anybody and everybody.
Listen to that part of your brain that's saying, "Oh man, that looks like it's going to be a tangled mess."
Now take a good look at the hooks. Go ahead... I'll wait.
Notice how thick the bottom is? That means it doesn't fit in most holes. Yeah, even the side 1/2 inch holes on a Cort trailer. How about the metal mesh bottom? Nope, not there either... at least not without considerable tweaking and wiggling.
Now look at the hook itself. Notice how it's short. Also thick - well, except for that exceptionally thin and thus weak tip. That doesn't fit in anything either.
I'm not a genius. Just because I'm a degreed professional writing in lucid, complete sentences doesn't mean I can't miss the obvious. But, for the life of me, I cannot figure out what well-intentioned product designer/engineer thought this hook improved on the already-established hook design of the past 2000 years or so.
I'm just going to zip-tie the back long edge to the cargo carrier and figure something else out. Maybe cannibalized wire coat hanger hooks would work. Or used bubble gum. Anything. Most likely I'll throw it away and buy some good old-fashioned bungee cords.
Thule aeroblade w/ Curt rack. Used this Christmas for a family trip to Gatlinburg, TN and through the Smokey Mountains. It worked great to get all our gear there and back! Thanks for getting it to us on time.
It works great!
I haven't used it yet, but quality and functionality seems great.
The cargo net is better than I had thought it would be. It is very well contructed and will hold the the cardboard boxes in place much better than using the bungie cords I have previously used. My wife really liked to product and assisted me with installing it on the trailer. I do not have a picture available at this time. The next time I will snap a photo with my cell phone and forward it to you. I do look forward to doing business with you again.
Thanks, Thomas C
Didn't last after a couple long distance highway trips through rain. Straps became weak and one broke. Ok if you want to prevent light items from blowing around in a truck bed, but I would not use for securing heavy items.
Great product
Very useful and easy to use. To secure the cargo, I used ratchet type straps to hold the net and cargo down to prevent them from flying off. Do not place items on any rack without some type of hold down like a ratchet or a rope.
Works exactly as I expected to. Stretches to cover everything that I put on my rooftop carrier. The plastic attachment clips can by used to attach to several different size bars. I recommend it
Bought this as suggested for my Curt Basket (18115-INS-RD). On the first trip out, driving on secondary streets not more than 45 MPH for small stretches, I lost a 22 inch diameter shower-hut. Can you imagine? 22 inches in diameter and it slipped through the lousy webbing? We get to the campsite, get all setup, go to setup the shower tent and it's nowhere. I'm returning this item.
This net works perfectly. It's strong and very well constructed and will hold up for a long time. Well worth the money.
Etrailer is a GREAT company to do business with. I've gotten several things from them over the years and what they promise is what they deliver. Never a problem. Their products are always worth the money.
Netting did it’s job holding things in place. Adjustments to hook placements were required to ensure netting tightly holds cargo on the roof rack.

Perfect for both covering items in the rooftop cargo basket as well as in the back portion of my SUV!
Honestly i just ordered this to get free shipping but i did use it on my cargo rack. Works as it should. No complaints.
Easy assembly, very good quality, fast delivery.
customer service was amazing and the cargo net is a perfect fit.
Worked as expected
Came earlier than expected, product in good shape and easily assembled. Haven’t used yet but will update if allowed
