In a Class I hitch you will need to use a cargo carrier that is also rated as Class I, such as Curt # C18110. We do have a number of these and they appear on the linked page, but the Class II Pro Series # 63155 may not be suitable.
For a carrier close in size to the Pro Series I recommend the Curt # C18110 because it has more height rise in the shank for better ground clearance and provides handy tie down points for a cargo net # C18200 or bungee cords. If you go with Bungee cords, I recommend an assortment. You could start with 4-6 each of the # EM06664 19" and # EM06656 24", and 2-3 each of the lengths such as: # EM06658 36" and # EM06668 42". If you wish to add a protective water-resistant bag you can do so with # e98990.
Class I hitches have a tongue weight rating of 200-lbs so this means that after you deduct the carrier's 30-lb weight you can still load up 170-lbs of cargo and remain within the hitch capacity.
