Question:

Have a 2915 pathfinder with rack 48 wide and 28 long will not slide.bag is 59 long and 34 wide . Can i used it at all with out basket.

You can use a larger than needed cargo bag on a cargo carrier like what you mentioned. Basically you'd have more cargo room available than needed but as long as you secure the bag down well it won't be an issue at all.

You can use a cargo net like the part # C18200 which will easily keep the excess bag and cargo secured. Basically you'll just stretch the net over the bag and it will hold everything in place. I attached a review video for this net for you to check out as well.
