Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers

Worried about the tires on your fifth wheel dry rotting in the intense desert sun during a long camping trip? Or perhaps you're storing a boat trailer in the northeast, and you're concerned about your wheels rusting after a series of snowstorms? These durable covers protect the tire-and-wheel assemblies from dust, dirt, and the elements while your RV, camper, or trailer is parked or stored for an extended period of time. By keeping your tires covered, it'll prevent the sidewall from prematurely cracking and causing a blowout on the highway. This will extend the life of your tires, so you won't have to unexpectedly budget in a costly tire replacement.

This heavy-duty vinyl material is water repellent and UV repellent, so it'll hold up against rain showers, snow flurries, and heat waves during storage. The covers are reinforced with double-needle stitching and overlapping seams for extra durability, so it won't rip easily. And the material is easy to wipe clean before putting it away at the start of the camping season.

Securing the Covers onto Your Tire-and-Wheel Assemblies

Adco RV Tire and Wheel Covers Bungee Cords

These covers are quick and easy to install. If you have larger tire-and-wheel assemblies, it's recommended to lay the covers in the sun for a few minutes. This will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tires more easily. Once the covers are in place on your tires, thread bungee cords through the built-in grommets on the back and pull tight to remove any excess slack in the material. These bungee cords prevent the covers from flapping in the wind, and the soft interior lining won't damage your wheels' paint job.

The Adco Ultra Tire covers are a perfect fit for my 29' diameter trailer tires. The materiaal it of great quality. The covers stretched over the tires with a tight fit. The stretchable cord used to attach the overs were long you can adjust the length needed. The spare tire cover fit perfectly. I need the covers to protect my tires from the high heat and direct sun light. More to come after the summer heat.

Thanks for the detailed review Mr Q, and including the picture! Yes, let those covers eat the hard UV rays so your tires don't take the beating =)

They fully cover the tires. Great protection from the sun. The bungee cords are difficult to use since you would need to crawl under the trailer to connect them. The covers fit perfectly. Bungee cords don’t provide enough tension.
by:
Not bad. Had to be creative in how the elastic straps cinched the covers. Probably would not use much if the trailer was used often because of the setup time. Ok for long term storage. Bought to protect newly installed tires.
by:
Ordering from etrailer was easy.My tire covers fit perfectly and the quality is top notch. I will definitely be ordering items from etrailer in the future.
by:
Tire covers look great and fit perfectly, a great price and well made
by:
The tire covers are used every time I return the RV into storage, which is out in the Florida sun. The covers have held up masterfully and the tires have been very well protected. I can see the difference in the storage area where RVs do not use covers or they use a less durable brand. I am completely satisfied!

Good cover. Works as designed. Just like the pictures and videos. If you want to use the draw cord and don’t like crawling on the ground up and under the trailer to fasten , then advise seeking something else. It’s such a good fit on my tires I don’t see a need to use the cords which serve only to keep the covers from flying away in high winds but don't see that happening. Box directions show just looping the cord through and hooking the ball. Etrailer pics show it weaved back n forth so whatever works for you
by:
Good fit. Good quality. We are pleased with them.
by:
Good fit and coverage of the wheels. The grommets and holes were just right for securing the cover in place.

2022 Forest River R-Pod Travel Trailer
These fit perfectly on our RPOD 192. They are made well, and the stitching around the seams and grommets is very sturdy. The vinyl is thick enough so it will last in our Wyoming winters, but not so thick to make the covers stiff and easily crack. I'm glad I invested in these to protect our wheels and tires.
by:
great fit easy to install and I feel good to know I will protect my investment in the new tires
by:
These UV tire covers worked perfectly on my Airstream Flying Cloud 19’. They have all kinds of sizes. Really easy to install. Not expensive. Fitted under my Brahma wheel lock too, so my trailer is secure and now I know my tires won’t fry in the sun. Great company!
by:
Cover works good. Fit snug. If you dont want to lay down behind the tire to fasten bungee probably should try to find another design. Product material seems to be tough. I needed protection from morning sun on one tire.
by:
It is what you said. Thank you greatly!
by:
the order was shipped right away through UPS and arrived fast and in good shape thanks

i ordered these covers for my rv and they work great look very nice and will last a long time. loved the fast shipping thanks etrailer for a great product!

Fit and weather well.
by:
etrailer had what I wanted, got it and is in use. Website was easy to navigate, I'll be back.
by:
Tire covers were a quality product and fit correctly.
by:
Still works well and looks clean after a year of constant use and UV exposure. The only negative is that installation requires kneeling on the ground and reaching behind the tire. But I understood this before I bought, so can’t really complain. Good value for the price.

Still working as they should. The shock cord straps are holding up and the outsides still look bright and clean.

I measure the dia. of my tires and they are 26". So, I went with this cover since it says 27" to 29". Turns out that they are just big enough to just miss touching the ground. I have the R15 Goodyear Eagle tires.

They look good, fit well and were in good condition on arrival. The real test will be how they hold up in the hot Florida sun. I notice they are warranted for 3 years, so time will tell.

  • Recommended Cover for 2006 Trailmanor 2720 Travel Trailer
Based on my research, your 2006 Trailmanor 2720 is 23' long. For that length of trailer in the California sun I highly recommend the Adco RV Cover # AD67ZR. This cover fits trailers between 22'1" and 24' long and takes into account your rooftop AC. The Adco cover includes tire covers like you wanted, is designed to withstand sun exposure as well as high winds and moisture, and includes zippered entry doors so you can access your Trailmanor even when the cover is on. It also has cinching...

  • Looking for Tire Covers for a 225/75/15 Size Tire
Happy to help Keith, For a 225/75/15 tire, I'd recommend the Adco Ultra Tyre Gard Covers. They are made to fit tires between 27" and 29", yours falls right in between at 28". If you'd rather have black covers, part # 290-3973 is the same cover. Doing some ice fishing? Any interesting catches?

  • How to Determine Overall Tire Diameter for Picking Out Storage Cover Based on Tire Size
As long as you are okay with a little math you can easily determine the diameter of a tire with the size like you mentioned. The number 205 of the tire size represents the section width of the tire, in millimeters. This is the measurement of the tire at its thickest point. If you want to convert centimeters to inches, divide the number of centimeters by 2.54. 1 Inch is about equal to 2.54 centimeters. Example: 20.5 cm / 2.54 = 8.070 in That means a 205/75R15 tire would have a section...

  • How Often Should Trailer Tires Be Replaced?
Your friends are pretty close. We suggest replacing tires every 3-6 years or every 10K-12K miles, which ever comes first. Most trailer tires do not get replaced due to mileage and instead age. If you are using tire guards to protect the tires from UV rays while being stored or storing the tire in a garage it will take a bit longer for dry rot to affect the tire. As soon as you start seeing dry rot you should go ahead and plan on replacing the tire. On the other hand if you do not cover...

Usually tandem axles only vary slightly in length and the general rule of thumb is that if your tire size is on the list and you made no alteration to the tandem axle length, then the wheel cover is a fit. You definitely can lift your trailer off the ground with some jack stands # PTW41021 to help prevent flat spots from forming on the trailer tires. With your trailer being that light it would probably take longer than 3-6 months for flat spots to form but it doesn't hurt to be overly cautious. It really is going to come down to the weight of the trailer and the quality of the tires, but this isn't something that's been tested so it's hard to give a definitive answer on how long is ok....

Generally trailer tires should be replaced every 5 to 6 years regardless of mileage and use. This "clock" can be started once the tires are mounted to your trailer, assuming they were stored in a controlled environment between the manufacturer date and the day they were mounted. Storing your trailer outside where the tires are exposed to the sun all day may certainly shorten their lifespan by leading to cracks or dry rot.
