Question:

I am trying to determine the cover size for my wheels on my 5th wheel/ My tire size is st225/75R15. Am I correct that I should look for covers that fit a 28.2975 diameter tire? Thanks

You are exactly right when you mentioned an overall diameter on your ST225/75R15 tire of just under 28.3 inches. With this size tire, I recommend going with a 29 inch cover like the Adco Ultra Tyre Guard RV Wheel Covers - Black # 290-3973. These covers will work perfectly for the tires on your fifth wheel trailer and will do a great job of guarding against water, dirt, and UV rays.
