Adco Polypropylene Cover Installed

Summer is over, and you're worried about your pop-up camper or trailer getting dirty and damaged in storage during light rainstorms, mild sun, and other moderate weather conditions. When you're storing your popup in the south or another sunny spot, this durable cover will protect it. When you keep your popup covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it at the start of the camping season. And if you want to trade your popup in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

Adco Polypropylene Cover Material

The non-abrasive, 4-ply polypropylene construction is UV-treated so it won't crack or fade when exposed to harmful UV rays. It also protects your popup against mild rain, dirt, and wind so that it doesn't develop black streaks and corrosion on the sides and roof over time.

How to Measure Your Pop-Up Camper or Trailer

Measuring Your Pop-Up Camper

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your popup from the very front to the rear bumper. The cover isn't meant to fit over the tongue of your popup, so don't include it in your measurements. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of the popup to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover onto Your Camper or Trailer

Adco Polypropylene Cover Straps

First unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your popup, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. The cover is labeled with "front" and "rear" to help you position the cover correctly on your RV.

Once the cover is in place, wrap the elasticized hem on the cover around the bottom corners of your popup to remove any excess slack in the material. Thread the included cinch rope through the built-in grommets on the cover and pull on them until the cover fits snugly around the contours of your popup. And then toss the weighted straps underneath your popup to the other side and buckle them together, which keeps the cover secure and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.

Maybe as good as can be expected for a breathable cover exposed outside, but some holes/ripping after a year. It should make two yrs but I think that's it. UV does the job on these things. Replaced a cheaper model with this, there are some advantages to this one (better vertical coverage, longer fit) but uncertain about economics.

by:

The trailer cover is a great value, but nothing in comparison to the outstanding customer service I have received from etrailer.com.

by:

The covers fit well on our Chalet Aspen fold up camper. They are protective. The reason for the "average" rating is that they don't stand up well to wind. We have pretty vicious winds in the spring and with thunderstorms in the summer and they get shredded. Only last two or three years unfortunately. We have never found a better cover so we just accept the fact that we replace them often.

by:

For occasional use this is a great cover. I may have expected too much from the cover, but I used it to cover my camper whenever I was not using it. It was always outside. By 5 months after purchase it was torn in multiple places. Essentially, after 6 months I just threw it away. I wish I had taken some photos. I would not purchase this particular cover again.

by:

Just put it on my 10' Coleman Fleetwood pop up camper and, although it's a bit baggy in places, it fits snugly at the corners and the straps help pull it all together. The one I bought was for 10-12 feet, but I wonder if I should've got one size smaller. My camper measured almost 12' from back bumper to the front of the camper, so I think a smaller one might have been too small.

by:

Best bang for your buck as far as pop up covers go. My last one made it 3 winters and 4 summers before the Colorado sun killed it.

by:

This pop=up camper cover lasted just six months. I hoped to have used it for a year or two. Despite it being fitted and strapped securely the wind caused it to tear. I am not satisfied with my purchase. I do not recommend this product. I'll be looking for something heavier and more durable.

by:

Had this on the camper for less than one year. I put it on loosely as recommended. In the spring the corners had holes. I took the cover off and proceeded to pup up the camper roof. Water started to pour out of one of the roof corners. I bought this cover because it was supposed to be breathable. So either it let water in from the top or didn’t let condensation out from underneath. Either way it’s no good.

by:

I was skeptical of my RV cover at first because it seemed like rather thin material. I can say I’m very impressed with how well it has held up keeping rain off in 45+ mph winds. It has been through several bad ice and snow storms just in the last year with no problems or leaks and still like new. I can say even if we have a problem with this one we will buy another one and it will be through ETRAILER. Their customer service and shipping info is outstanding.

by:

Fits well, priced right and easy to put on. The straps are much better than cinch strings on other covers.
Delivered as promised!

by:

In less than one month the outer shell began to rip for unknown reasons. There have been some leaves falling on it and windy days, but this is shocking in such a short time period. It looks a several years old already.

by:

I purchased this mainly for winter protection. In Idaho, the wind has tested the durability more than the snow so far. With some rubber "caps" on the four corners of our pop-up frame bottom, and a piece of plywood holding down the top of the cover, it's held up pretty well.

by:

Cover fit well, but only lasted 8 months. Texas summer sun/heat has embrittled/thinned the “UV-treated” polypropylene fabric, and it rips like tissue paper. Cover has 2-year warranty, but must make claim through Adco (not etrailer), so we’ll see how that is managed.

by:

This cover is perforated material the Sun shines right thru it .
It dose not provide any UV protection . Its more like a mesh than it is a solid canvas or tarp like material .When on you can See Right Thru it and read the printing on the side of the rv. rain goes right thru it . So No UV protection or rain protection ..Perforated mesh like material with NO Sun Protection and NO rain protection ..Very Disappointing

by:

This cover lasted less than a year. It is totally disintegrating now. Apparently SF Bay Area climate is too harsh... Filed a warranty claim. They will send me a new one for $25 shipping. Not worth it! Adco told me it is supposed to be a temporary cover, not one to keep on for the whole year... So useless for me. Not recommended.

by:

I recently received and fitted our camper cover. It seems to be a good quality product and I feel it was fairly priced. It fits our camper well, and I like some of the little touches like the weighted straps to secure the cover, the nicely grommeted connection points where the cover can be adjusted as needed. I also appreciate that "front" and "rear" are clearly marked - makes it easier to get oriented, especially if you're trying to work with it in the wind.

by:

It lasts two years. Warranty is honored.

by:

I Love the pop up camper cover , the fit was just perfect, I will highly recommend you to all my camping friends .

Good cover, but ripped on the corner as soon as I put it on. Could use some corner reinforcements.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. The cover does have a 2 year warranty.

by:

The cover, while thin, is strong and provides good protection from the sun and allows any rain or condensation to evaporatr. Easy to fit and secure at a great price!

by:

Extremely disappointed! not even close to protecting from rain, it's hardly even water resistant, if it is all. oh, and then there is 5 1/2 razor knife? slice that it came with.

by:

It's ok. I thought the material would have been a little better. It already has 4 tips in it. Not sure how much longer it will last. I gave 3 stars bc it does cover the whole camper and serves its purpose but would have rated higher for better quality!

by:

The cover is not waterproof. With the wind the cover is broken.

I am sorry for the confusion, but this cover is not waterproof. It is made from a breathable polypropylene fabric to eliminate moisture build-up, mold, and mildew. It mostly protects against UV Rays, water pooling, and streaks from pollutants on the top of your pop-up.

by:

After one year, the entire cover shredded and tore because the fabric is so thin. Really poor quality

That is a shame that the cover did not last more than a year. It does have a two-year warranty and I am happy to send the warranty return instructions if you are interested.

  • Recommended RV Storage Cover For A 2016 Forest River Flagstaff T12RB Pop-Up Trailer
Hey Linda, The listed length of your pop-up is showing as 17' so the body is likely more in the 14' to 15' range, but you'll want to measure the body of the trailer like the diagram below to confirm. If the trailer body is 14' to 16' then you'll want the Classis Accessories # CA80041 or if it's 16' to 18' then you'll want the Adco # 290-2895.

  • All-Weather Cover For 2015 Rockwood HW277 Pop-Up Camper
There is an all-weather cover for your 2015 Rockwood HW277 pop-up camper, and you are correct that their length includes the trailer tongue, so what you'd do is take off three feet from the "official" measurement, which is in line with what you got with your 16 foot measurement. It will be just slightly over 16 feet long, so the best option is a cover for 16'1" - 18' pop-ups: - Camco UltraGuard Pop-Up Camper Cover # CAM45765 The # CAM45765 cover is also 87 inches wide which is perfect...

  • Best Cover Recommendation for Forest River Rockwood Freedom 1910
If you can store the pop up in a garage somewhere that is somewhat climate controlled that would be your most ideal setup. With a cover too as that will keep it the most protected. The length of your pop up looks to be right at 17 feet so for a cover the Adco cover part # 290-2895 would be your best option as it has the best coverage for UV/dust/ and weather protection.

  • Storage Cover Options for a 2018 Rockwood A214 HW 211 Inch Long Pop-Up Camper
First, keep in mind that for the length the trailer body only should be measured and not the include the tongue. Height is also just the height of the body and would not include anything on top of the pup such as an AC unit. Width, as you probably have guessed, is also the body of the pup, but that usually is not an issue. If you indeed have a trailer that is 211 inches then using a cover for 16 to 18 foot pop-ups is the best option. We have several in that size. For short-term storage...
