Video Transcript for What to Know About the Erickson Adjustable Bungee Hooks

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Ericcson Adjustable Bungee Hooks. These are available in a quantity of one, two, or ten. These are going to allow you to attach your bungee cord to a secure point on your truck or trailer to secure down any lightweight cargo that you might need to secure. It's going to work with adjustable bungee cords from a quarter to five-sixteenths of an inch in diameter. The cord or roll is sold separately.To get that attached, you're just gonna thread it through the larger hole of the base of the hook, and then up through that slot in the center, and down through the slotted hole at the bottom. It helps to stretch that cord to sort of thin it out, and then press it into place.

And, then you're just gonna press that in there. That's gonna hold that secure, so we don't have to worry about any slippage on our cord.There's also going to be that keeper in the center of the hook to keep that attached so we don't have to worry about that slipping off the attachment points either. This is gonna be made of a durable high strength plastic construction. As far as the dimensions with this hook, remove the bungee cord. It will allow you also to adjust it to whatever length you need that cord to be.

But, as far as the dimensions, it's gonna be about three inches in length overall. At its widest point it's gonna be just about two . or just about one and three-quarters of an inch to the end of that hook. And, the opening from inside edge to inside edge is going to be three-quarters of an inch.Again, this is available in several different quantities. For a single hook, the part number is going to be EM05296-1.
