I have 24inch crossbar spacing and ~48inch front clearance to hatch. Motion XT Alpine is way too long. Ideally I can fit 4 snowboards or 3 snowboards + 1 pair of skis. Any suggestions? Low profile preferred. Thanks

I recommend looking at the Inno Wedge 660, part # INBRM660WH for the white variant, and part # INBRM660BK for the black version.
This cargo box is unique in that the back tail of the box is in a sharp "Wedge" shape, giving it slightly better than average compatibility with rear hatches, as it clears out of the way for the hatch to operate.
Rather than using front clearance, this box uses rear clearance, which is the distance from the rear bar to the line where your hatch meets the roof. An Inno Wedge only requires 12 inches of clearance in this measurement in order to operate properly.
Based on Yakima's kit, you should have approximately 29 inches of clearance between your rear hatch and the rear bar. Even if its less than that, you should still have enough clearance. Additionally, the Inno Wedge is better able to be scooted forward on the vehicle, giving better clearance.
The Inno Wedge is able to fit up to 8 pairs of Skis or 4 Snowboards, which should be enough room to allow you to carry your three boards and one ski.
