The team on this very thread was not pushy and very helpful with my inquiry into the Inno IF44BK on this thread prior to my purchase. At first, I was unsure. I needed a Rod carrier that would hold two 8'7-inch rods fully rigged with 100-gram stick-baits along with a jigging pre-rigged set-up ready to land Monster Amberjack and Yellowtail at a moment's notice. This Rod box is a true game-changer for me because it eliminates the need to travel on a Friday after work for four hours plus to my fishing location and then after landing at my hotel spending another hour plus putting together and prepping my three set-ups. NOTE: ((I Test all my connections very rigorously)) lf it doesn't look right or a knot breaks with applied pressure at full drag when pulling line I do it again, and again until perfect. As all serious angler know, the best chance at landing monster fish is having zero connection failures. Now instead of doing all of that I can get a good night's sleep because I can prep my gear at home on a Monday or Tuesday prior to the trip and afterwords stow the rods fully loaded securely in the IF44BK fully assembled with Reel, Rod, Handle and Stickbait attached. Each day of my trip it is awesome to haul my rods and gear to the boat. When getting off the boat simply rinse down the rods, leave as is fully rigged, store in the container and take out the following morning. Etc. etc. No rushing and most importantly is a peace of mind indispensable time saver. Also, I can use the IF44BK for my shark fishing rod applications as it will hold and protect all five of my Deep-Sea Fishing Rods without having to worry if they will break. For me because I am running the Thule Hullivator Thule thicker racks, I had to mount the IF44BK to my truck using a unique improvisation mount contraption to secure the Inno Rod Box securely to the roof of my Truck. The box comes off and, on the truck, easily. The only quirk I had is that I am in Korea and had to pay an extra dollars for shipping even though I had an U.S. APO AP address. Despite that set-back I give the IP44BK A 5 STAR RATING because as an avid Big Game Pelagic Fisherman the rod-box perfectly suits my needs. I am writing this review for others on the fence about purchasing this product; had I seen this review I would not have hesitated buying this product. It goes on easy, comes off easy, i haven't had it stolen and no jerk has come along and identified my gear as valuable and ripped off my reels or broken my rod tips so yes, I'd definitely buy this rack again. I get to where I've looked forward to and my gear is rigged ready to rock and roll. Keeps your gear upto where it cant piece your ear or eyeball. Nice purchase.
Received yesterday, got put together. Will meet my needs for storage of my 9ft. fly rods. Have not installed, will be fabricating a rack for my kayak trailer to install on. Will summit a photo after built and installed.
The only, affordable, rod case that can hold 8 fully rigged 9ft fly fishing rods. Light, durable, easy to assemble and mount. I love this rod carrier!
After owning this rod holder for more than a year - I am very pleased with it. Used for one extended trip of almost 4000 miles through all kinds of weather. Rods and reels were secure and kept from the elements.

I really like this carrier. It is easy to mount, easy to open, and easy to lock. I would definitely buy it again. Overall quality is good.
Easy to assemble. Great choice for rod storage and transportation. Considering buying a second one for the other side of my truck.

I purchased this carrier last year in advance of a family trip to Lake of the Ozarks. Since the bed of my truck was going to be filled to the brim with luggage, coolers, and other supplies, I wanted to make sure that my fishing rods wouldn't become damaged when/if heavy items shifted during the trip.
It was very easy to assemble and even easier to attach to my roof rack. I filled the carrier to capacity and the interior storage configuration kept everything nice and neat - no tangles. Additionally, I like the fact that it can be adjusted to accommodate varying lengths of rods. One of the best features of this carrier is that it has locks on each of its entry latches, as opposed to just one. I had no issue with leaving them in the carrier for extended periods of time, confident in its ability to deter potential thieves.
Thus far, I can find no faults with the Inno Rod carrier and highly recommend it.
Wish the material in the shell was thicker and sturdier. However, it works as advertised, very convenient to use.
It was easy to put together and install. I love the flexibility of the different lengths. It was super easy to connect to my roof rack… possibly the best feature. Loading rods and reels is easy, though you may have to great creative with your arrangements if packing certain size outfits. I had 7 spinning outfits packed in there with ease (these included 4 surf fishing outfits with larger spinning reels). The carrier closed easily over all these outfits, held everything securely, and locked securely. When I opened the case after our ride from NJ to NC, all was still in place. A great product.
I love my Inno Rod Box. It stays on my Suburban just about all the time. It's secure and yet easy enough to offload when needed. Love it.
Fairly easy to put together, works nicely for transporting rods. Was able to safely transport more than 10 rods, with 6'6" to 9" lengths. Securely attaches to the roof rack and has double locks to keep the case secure. Does have a slight whistle when driving in wind, but nothing you can't tune out, and may have more to do with how it is attached to my roof rack than the actual carrier. Has made transporting rods much easier but not having them in the car. I'm happy with my purchase.
I REALLY LIKE THE CARGO BOX. I WISH THERE WAS A BETTER WAY TO KEEP THE CLIPS MOUNTED INSIDE SO THAT THEY DON'T MOVE AROUND WHEN I'M TAKING THE BOX ON AND OFF THE ROOF OF MY CAR BUT OVERALL, THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT.

Just received so I cannot comment on how good the product is.
It did arrive in good shape and everything was in the carton except the hex wrench.
The direction for assembly leave alot to desire.
The product was delivered on time and was very easy to setup
