Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Curt Roof-Mounted Cargo Basket and seeing how it fits on our 2022 Toyota RAV4. This is going to be the larger version of Curt's roof-mounted basket. They make one that's a little bit more square, but shorter, but this one has the extension piece in the middle. And the reason for that today is because the roof rack that fits on this particular RAV4 has a really wide crossbar spread, which is gonna make it hard to attach baskets, because a lot of them are meant for a more narrow crossbar spread. So you're gonna have to be looking at bigger boxes to accommodate that if you have the same roof rack setup that we have that utilizes these fixed mounting points.

If you're transporting some larger items, or maybe some heavy items that might have some mud, sand, water, things like that that you don't wanna keep in the cab or the trunk of your vehicle, a hitch carrier like this might be a good option for you. This carrier is rated to hold a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds. It only weighs 25 pounds, so to get all that weight capacity out of there is nice. The construction is steel with a black powder coat finish, so it should hold up pretty well to weather and corrosion.

This carrier is capable of supporting up to 500 pounds, and it's still pretty lightweight, so it's not gonna add a ton of weight to your vehicle's tongue weight. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at our small cargo quick base system for your roof, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2021 Toyota RAV4. So this is part of the Inno quick base system where, as long as you get an Inno quick base, you can mount your different cargo accessories to your roof or to your hitch super quickly and easily. Now, this is gonna consist of two components where we have our quick base tray for the roof and we have our gear carry six cubic foot cargo box. So this is gonna be one of my favorite kits available here at Etrailer just because it makes for a very portable system. It does sit on the smaller sides in terms of cargo space, but that's just what you get for having something that's very easy to move around.

Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. Now, for something like a rooftop cargo basket, what uses does it have Well, if you're wanting to carry around some of those bigger, bulkier items, maybe like fishing rods and wanting to keep them out of your vehicle, or maybe just need some additional storage space, all of those are perfectly legitimate regions for needing a rooftop cargo basket like this. Our rooftop basket is going to have a weight capacity of 165 pounds, but do keep in mind that our roof rack system, as well as some of the components on our car might have their own separate weight capacities, and we wanna make sure we are catering to our lowest number possible. That way, we just don't overload anything and potentially cause any permanent damage to any of our systems. Carrier is going to weigh 23 pounds, which is pretty impressive.

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OffGrid Roo Mounted Cargo Basket here on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. Now this can be an excellent way, guys, of getting a lot more cargo space getting up on top of the roof and therefore we don't have to even add anything on the back of our hitch. You don't have to worry about a hitch, the only thing we're going to need, a nice little roof rack system to make sure that this works. Now we do have it on here on the Rhino-Rack here today, but you can make it work on almost any crossbar system, so whether it be round, square, factory, or aero, you should have no trouble at all getting on it. One little thing I will say when considering what kind of crossbar to get, if you are wanting to start utilizing Yakima's same key system, it could benefit you to go ahead and just grab a Yakima roof rack. Now, of course, as we said, you don't have to do that, but that will begin as to go ahead and start getting all of our locking cores keyed alike, utilizing Yakima's same key system.

Now, this cargo carrier is pretty useful for when you're going to the beach and you have sand and everything, so you just want to put there, you're hiking, you want to put your muddy stuff here, everything you don't want in your car can go in here.Okay. So for this cargo carrier, it's 24 by six feet, which is basically actually as long as I am tall and it has a 500 pound weight capacity. So it has this mesh bottom, which I actually prefer because it's small enough so things don't really fall out, but it's really easy just to hose off after a muddy or a sandy day. So it's easy to clean and we have here a little reflector tape so when you're driving on the road, that helps with safety as well.All right. So let's see how deep this cargo carrier is.

Now this cargo carrier can be extremely useful for when you have muddy things from hiking or your drink coolers that are dripping everywhere, or even like I like to travel, all the extra luggage I have can go on here so that there's more legroom inside.You can use this for a lot of things. This is a 24 by 60 cargo carrier, so you can see there's a lot of space here, and it has wire mesh which I appreciate, especially when you're talking about the muddy hiking items or things that might drip around because it will go straight through this wire mesh.

Right now we have the etrailer aluminum cargo carrier loaded up. Now let's just go over some features of it for you guys, see how it's going to interact with your RAV4.To start, I want to point out having an aluminum cargo carrier is a great advantage. You're taking the amount of ton weight added to your vehicle and you're cutting it out by a lot, and when you compare it to a steel folding cargo carrier, so you're not going to have as much weight back there when it's empty and not as much weight even when it's filled up. You're still going to have a 500 pound weight capacity, which is right in line with a lot of other cargo carriers we carry, so you're not really sacrificing too much there.As far as storage space for it, we'll measure inside rail to inside rail.
