Review of the Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier on a 2013 Toyota RAV4

Today on our 2013 Toyota Rav 4, we're doing a test fit of the Strong Bird Carson Cargo Carrier. Part number is CC-100. This is 23 by 60. It can hold up to 500 pounds. Let's take a few measurements. First measurement I'd like to take will be form the bumper, of course to our rack here. That's 5 inches.

Overall, we've added 28 1/5 inches. And our ground clearance- looking at 9 1/2 inches. This is made out of steel. You can see we have the mesh floor, so nice and easy clean. It's got the black powder coat for the non-rusting. Now you see, if you get in, outside your hatch, but just remember, when you're packing your cargo carrier, you don't want to go over 16 inches. You can still be able to get in and outside the cargo bay, but anything over that, you may have to bring it down. On this particular vehicle, we have our exhaust, it is pointing down, so you should be all right.

We're looking at about 12 inches there. So if you have any heat sensitive materials, just remember that you may want to put them on the other side. This does not come with a penny clip, you can find that on our website. We have a P3 that we have today. That will do it for our test fit on the Strong Bird Carson Cargo Carrier.
