I have a Jeep Wrangler and the back door would not open because the neck of the jack that came with the trailer was too tall. This neck - when lowered all the way, does not impeed the door from opening. I talk with a rep before ordering. She was very helpful and got me the correct product.

Attached is a picture of how I am using the unit. I have a two wheel trailer type sprayer manufactured by Rears Corp in Oregon. They supply a Bulldog 158151 with the sprayer to support the tongue when the sprayer is disconnected from the tractor three point hitch To reconnect to the tractor it is easier to have a unit with a wheel which is why I ordered the BD1541150301 and BDCP555. It did take me over two months to get delivery, but the unit works fine. You may want to contact Rears Corp and see if they would like to switch to the unit with the wheel. The only down side is that the 158151 supports 2000 lbs and the BDCP555 oly 1500 lbs.

Rebuilding a used trailer with no idea what axles it had. Contacted customer service and they walked me through getting the right brake kits, bearings, and hubs..excellent customer service

All new wiring on a trailer rebuild. These junction boxes make the job so much easier and faster. Now when i troubleshoot wiring issues im chasing one wire at a time. Oh and now the wiring goes in a location that works for me

Pretty sure this is the model that came with my new BoatMaster Trailer many years ago. Anyway, much better than the last jack stand which started rusting less than a year. The new Bulldog, at least on my A-frame trailer, could only be installed with the handle facing forward, which is fine, especially since it is much easier at lifting its weight compared to a top-wind, rusty 1,000 jack that it replaces. I'll let you know if it lasts and doesn't start rusting prematurely or develops winding/gear problems.

i replaced my old jack with this one and it is harder to crank then my older one. probley putting the old one back on.

I have a utility trailer that came with an A-frame jack that wore out. I was looking for a marine jack with a wheel to make it easier to roll the trailer around and get it hookup up to my vehicle and to roll it back into it's storage spot. I wasn't looking for anything high dollar. The first marine jack with wheel and swivel was a lesser expensive one from the big box store with a snap ring where the swivel attaches. It was also not fully serviceable and the swivel part was quite sloppy and provided a lot of play back and forth and side to side. After 1 of the gears started slipping it was time to replace it. This one from eTrailer was a little more expensive, but sooooo much smoother cranking with the bearing inside and the bolt on the swivel does not have the play the other one did. It is also fully serviceable. I tried to tighten it up some, but appears there is thread lock blue on the threads, so I left it as it. As many have mentioned, the bolts were too long for the thickness of the trailer frame, so I just hacksawed them off. Happy with this product.

Its a good jack. Unfortunately the only reason its not getting 5 stars is because the spring broke within the first 20 uses. But it still works fine

I got 2 of these for a landing gear set up on my bumper pull. Customer service said there is no way to reverse gear to use as landing gear so i set them both to turn in same direction. These are by far the best price ive found. Compared to a local prices i basically got 2 for the price of one. Doesnt appear to have any sacrifice in quality either. Very heavy duty. It only took a few days to get them. Customer service is great and so is the product. E-Trailer helped us immensely when we had to replace one of our trailer jacks. Customer service was very helpful in choosing correct jack. Our trailer takes two jacks and I would have only replaced the broken one, However they explained the lifting ratio would be different between my old jack and a new one. Saved me from a breakdown later on down the road. Very good company to work with, returned all my calls.

This was the third jack for an tandem enclosed cargo trailer that weighs about 7000 pounds loaded. The trailer belongs to a Non-profit living history group of which I am the "Seneschal" which essentially means the guy with the truck big enough to pull the trailer. My responsibilities also include repair and maintenance of all of the gear and the trailer. The original jack was damaged and I had purchased a "speed jack" from another company and installed it last October and did not use the trailer until April of this year. One use and that jack failed. Upon dissection I discovered that the Chinese manufacturer failed to lubricate it and the bearings were rusted and in various stages of disintegration. After a bit of cursing and a bit more internet research I found etrailer. Once I abandoned the idea of a "speed jack" and went with the drop jack, I found that etrailer had what I needed at a competitive price. Calling etrailer lead to a delightful experience rich with excellent customer service with likes of which I have never experienced in my 58 years. Works great, I first had it on the feet on the concrete it seemed to slide just a little, so I took a extra rubber floor mat and cut it a few inches bigger and placed it under the two stabilizers (or feet) that gave it even more stability, this is on my Luxe 42 ft fifth wheel…

I bought this jack to replace a crappy jack on a car hauler I was refurbishing. In addition to a great price, It's easy to weld into place, cranks easily under load (sidewinders are the most comfortable to use), has a drop-foot so that when fully retracted it has plenty of ground clearance and it has a grease zerk so disassembly to lubricate isn't necessary. I will absolutely buy another when needed.

SOLID, this jack is heavy and does a great job. Love the drop down feature so I don't have to crank as much as on a standard jack. Just pull the pin leg drops to ground the put the pin back in the nearest hole.

I purchased this JA-5000S-B Sidewind jack for my 20' Car Hauler because I added a Harbor Freight toolbox that was taller than my top wind jack. This one is somewhat taller than the one replaced and moves the wind handle toward the truck. In my case the tailgate still drops and clears the handle by 10" or so. The jack is a little slower than the last one but has a higher weight rating (5000 lbs) etrailer always helps with the selection and has been a great resource.

quick and easy, it took me longer to remove the c-cli, because I did not have the right tool, but had it on in 10 min.

The hitch is beat to death. It looks like somebody threw it down a concrete driveway. It has scratches all over it paint missing it’s dented it looks like it’s been thrown down the driveway. And now it’s going to rust l. I can’t believe I waited this long to get something that looks this bad. That’s really disappointing play this kind of money look like this

After the gears on my original/stock A-frame sidewind jack had stripped and failed (BAL 2000 mounted on my 2017 Forest River Rockwood mini-lite model 2306 with a dry weight of 4005 lbs), I replaced it with another BAL 2000 sidewind model which lasted less than 6 months before the gears also had stripped and failed. After reviewing numerous A-frame jack sidewind models, I decided to purchase the Bulldog A-frame sidewind model with a rating of 5000 lbs and a 15" lift. I also purchased the corresponding foot pad to help with the distribution of weight. The installation was straightforward and simple and so far, I have not experienced any functional issues with the jack. For anyone searching for and in need of a high quality and capable A-frame sidewind trailer jack, I would highly recommend this particular model.

The jacks were just what I needed. I used them to weld onto my small camper in order to stabilize and level the tear of the trailer.
