Best 2022 Ram 3500 Hitch Adapters

So far it's great!! It took me and my buddy about 90 minutes to take off the old hitch on my 2006 Chevy 3500 dually!!! We timed ourselves! It wasn't complicated. We used a floor jack to lift the new hitch into place. All bolt holes matched perfectly. You definitely should use two people to install this thing because if it gets away from you may need to replace some fingers. It's just a heavy piece of equipment. Installing it myself saved me about $600 over having someone else install!!

Great item, The hole drilled in the lower tube and not straight. Ran a drill through and all good.

I would love to give this a high review BUT-the silver "Reese" cover was destroyed in shipment-not Reeses fault, but the following is 1) the mounting plate for the 7-pin connector was welded on poorly, the weld itself was strong but so poorly done that the mounting plate on the 7 pin extension cord mounting bracket would not mount flush nor would the bolt holes line up-I had to leave one of the 4 bolts out. 2) the cover ring at the reiver end, where you install your ball hitch was also so poorly welded, off center in all 4 directions. So bad that it would not take some ball hitches and others had to be "forced fit" to get them in because the welded cover plate actually closed off the receiver end by about a 1/16 of an inch, doesn't seem like much but on a receiver that has to fit snuggly it's a mile. 3) the distance from the pin hole at trucks end to end of extension was too long-it hit spare tire and I had to cut off 1 1/4 inches to get the extension to fit and not hit the spare tire. Other than those 3 things it had potential.

Great fit no alterations necessary to fit my HD 3500 standard bed.

We have been using Torklift superhitch and supertruss extension since 2010 hauling horses around the US. This extension and superhitch went on our new truck. We hauled trouble and worry free for 10,000 miles this year. Best product on the market.

I needed a receiver reducer from 2.5 to 2 inches so I could use my bike rack with the Chevy 3500 HD truck. I received one with the vehicle, but due to how my rack is secured within the receiver, it was not good for that purpose. With this extension, I am able to lock the reducer extenion in to the truck receiver, then fully secure the bike rack into the reducer extension. etrailer was the only site I could find a product like this. I checked it out when it arrived and it works as I expected.

Product as described. I bought this extension to use to mount a set of Rock Tamer Mudflaps. It should work perfectly.

It does what its supposed to do. I have a 2024 F350 and the sleeve sticks out an inch or so past the end of the receiver because of how the holes line up. I don't think that affects the functionality but would be great if it was flush.

This ain't pretty. But size does matter. The 58102 2" X 2 1/2" receiver adapter hits the spot. It fits nicely into the 2 1/2" receiver with, at most, 1/8" space "slap" room. It's almost full length front to back inside receiver providing plenty of support for my 2" weight distribution system without slap. I have not hooked up my Forest River 29'4", 10,7 75 lb. GVWR Puma tow behind R/V but I do not have any fear of this well constructed, perfect fitting receiver adapter. The people at etrailer are there, willing and able to assist you. I have personally found that, if the C.S. Rep doesn't know the answer, she/he will find the answer and report back to you, in my case within minutes. My purchase was delivered (snail mail) within 5 days and In excellent condition. I will report back shortly after a trial run hooked up.

Very intuitive to assemble and heavy duty. Don’t forget the trailer light extension like I did.

The adapter is a snug fit. It had slight filing for the medial and lateral pins for the hitch, however they didn't grind down the center bead weld (on top or bottom) which makes it difficult to remove the hitch from the adapter. I had to file down the weld with a Dremel, and now it works great!

This items works really well as the hitch I have ($300+) was for a 2" opening and my new truck has a 2.5" opening. This items bridges the gap although it does make the hitch unit extend about 1' to 1.5" further out. Not an issue if you have adequate chain length.

E-tailer folks are very knowledgeable and professional. The Torklift TLE 1648 is a beast. I can't wait to be able to tow my pontoon boat with the AF slide in camper. Thanks for giving me an option to tow my boats.

Structurally strong! Chain and turnbuckles created an extension for my RV extension bumper with storage box. Thought with chains it might need constant re-tightening but has remained tight, after initial trip of 5500mi. Of towing car dolly!

I’ve had the superhitch with 24” extension mounted on my 2013 Ram 2500 for 1 year now and use it frequently to pull my 16 x 7 enclosed trailer with my motorcycle and other gear inside. The hitch and extension give me the towing capacity I need for pulling trailers behind my Lance Truck Camper. I highly recommend the SuperHitch!

I use the extender on my bike rack so I can access my tailgate and truck bed with the rack on. It does what it supposed to do and looks barely used although I travel to trails twice a week.

I needed my bike to clear my bumper on a front hitch and this did the trick. This extender is hollow so I was able to use anti rattle/ lock before adding bike rack.

Not surprising to me, the cardboard package containing the Cannon Extension was damaged. However, the extension is so solid there was no apparent damage to the product. I was disappointed that the package failed to include four of the (6) required 3/8 inch shackles. Your packaging department could use some work. Overall, I’m looking forward to completing the required parts list and using the product.

The hitch worked great. I pulled a 12ft Wells Cargo enclosed trailer with a motorcycle on board. The reason I purchased this hitch, I have a 101/2 ft Lance camper that extends pass the bumper. I used it on a F350. I did use a Equla-I-Zer sway control hitch because of the tongue weight of my trailer and I believe it made this extension hitch work better.

Heavy duty! Excellent product but did not have the bracket for the tailight extension. Of course the box was destroyed in shipping.

Works as advertised use it with my F350, Arctic Fox 811 Camper and 14' Enclosed UTV Trailer. Peace of mind going down the Road!

I needed a way to pull my 24 ft car trailer with my truck camper on,after researching extensively I kept coming back to the Supertruss extension, I couldn't be happier first trip out was 1200 miles and everything performed exactly as advertised.

Very Heavy duty and works as promised. I use it to extend my hitch on my 2012 Ram 3500 when I have my Lance 855s camper on the truck. It allows me to tow my Jeep on the trailer behind me. I also have the TorkLift super hitch on the truck which allows me to tow the loaded trailer with peace of mind. The system of superhitch and supertruss work perfectly together and I highly recommend.
