Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
So far, so good. The bike rack was fairly easy to put on my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe; & everything seemed to stay where it belongs on the trip to Pizza Hut for supper tonight. The "roll up excess strap" instruction didn't happen (How do you roll it up & keep it rolled up?). We'll see how it works on our trip to the beach this coming week for our anniversary.
Did my research and they said this was the one. And it lived up to it. Been using it for a year now and everything is great. Thanks

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
It's a pretty strong ,heavy-duty bike rack. A little awkward sliding bikes over the support mounts, but I like it. I feel confident the bikes are secured.
I had purchased this Thule Bike Rack which holds 4 bikes from etrailer.com and am very pleased with this product. I purchased on 6/12/16 and requested 3-5 business day delivery and it was delivered promptly on 6/17/16 to our home. the package arrived safe and sound with no damage in a bog box. I easily assembled it and put it easily into the class III hitch that I also bought from etrailer. I have our local mechanic shop install the hitch for me and they offered to help me put the bike rack together as well and put is on my car. I have a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. The bike rack has pins in the top and bottom and you take the one out as well as the hook that goes over the pin to lock into place and then you can fold down the bike rack to gain access to your trunk. On the top, there is a pin that you remove as well as the hook that locks the pin in place and you then can lift the arm to place your bikes. You use the rubber straps that come with the bike to hook onto the arms. I also use bungee cords and put them through the spokes of the bikes to keep the wheels from moving. I would definitely recommend the bike rack.

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I bought this Swagman XTC-2 hitch bike rack , a year ago and still loving it. Very good quality and fits perfect for 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I use it for 2 bikes all time time. No issues on the Freeway as well.
Just received my bike rack, and I couldn't be more pleased. Sturdy, bikes fit nicely, and I feel secure with them loaded onto the 2" hitch of my Santa Fe. I found that I optionally can use the tire rubber snubbers, but for short distances, I will probably not. Loading is straight forward and surprisingly easy. Thanks.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
etrailer was the best place to search for carrier options and led me to the Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount - TH911XT, which was just what I was looking for. etrailer pointed me to the right product at the right price and had the customer support options I needed. I highly recommend

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.
First off, thanks to Jason T. or "Troop". The exemplary customer service he provided is rare these days. Troop made several calls to the various manufacturers to ascertain which bike rack would afford me the most ground clearance as my new VW Golf sits low to the ground and my old bike rack frequently scraped the ground when I went up even a slight up hill grade. His efforts paid off as he found me the best bike rack for my car, the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier. It sits up off the ground just high enough that it doesn't scrape on my driveway. It is also sturdy and holds my bikes securely. And, the delivery was amazingly fast. I had my rack in about 2 days! Note to Troop, see my Pittsburgh Pirates Logo on my bumper in the attached pictures? Pirate Fans persevere! The Bucco's will be coming after your Cardinals this year! Thanks again Troop!

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
etrailer, Thank you for your fantastic service. Very impressed with your website and service from beginning to end. We are very pleased with our new Yakima bike rack and the Malone bike adapters. We had our first outing today and was soooo pleased with how the rack mounted and held our bikes perfectly in place. All down to your great descriptions, videos and car match info. Attached are some photos of our bike on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Many thanks again,
Perfect for my 2019 RAV-4. I like this product because it allows me to drive and park without having to worry about height clearances in the city and parking was still navigable. Definitely worth the money!

Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
Rack was easy to put together and use. Product is better than I expected. What a bargain
Planning on bringing bikes while camping. I mounted 2 of the Swagman bike racks to my new Sportrack on my pop-up camper. The bikes fit perfectly. The racks seem sturdy enough. Not heavy duty, but for my needs they should be fine. Assembly was relatively fast and easy.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
So far I’ve just assembled it and took a quick test drive around the block. My initial thought is this thing is perfect. It’s super sturdy and easy to use. My only gripe and it’s not fault of the rack, but it’s heavy…
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Our Townies fit great on this well designed rack. The website was very detailed and told me everything I needed to know to make the right selection. Even better, customer service cinched the deal with their help answering any additional questions. Top quality product and even better service.
I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works. The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal. For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal. We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.

Yakima RidgeBack Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Check out my other review on the hidden hitch for a 2015 BMW 4 Series for the majority of the review, but this thing is great. Easy setup and install, does all the things it's supposed to do. Mounting and removing bikes is a snap with the included clips (big difference from some of the cheaper variants with nylon ratchet straps). Fits very snugly in my 2" receiver, and pretty solid on the highway and over bumpy roads.
The rack itself is fantastic. Not too heavy, easy to attach to hitch, and very easy setup. The only real downside is if your bicycles don't have a standard frame, you'll need to buy the Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bars (~$50 each) in order to be able to mount them on the rack. I will say that smaller bikes (for my 9 year old) can be a challenge to mount with larger bikes as you'll need to finagle the handle bars and such to get them to line up but once you do it a few times you figure it out.

Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Works like a charm..!! Easy to install..!! Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2017
Truly grooving on my wife's new Swagman Chinook bike rack. She wanted to be able to transport her nice road bike easily without throwing it in the back of her car, and since a roof rack is out of the question, this Swagman model fit the bill perfectly. It arrived quickly on the anticipated date. Kudos to etrailer.com for the email updates to keep me informed of my purchase. Within one hour, it was installed on my wife's 2014 Mazda3 hatchback. The Swagman is heavy and solid, which is reassuring as it makes me feel confident that it will keep the bikes secure. It also makes me feel like I got my money's worth. A ratchet wrench and Phillip's head screwdriver were the only tools required for the easy install. I did my research before purchasing the Chinook model as I was also eyeballing a very similar Thule rack that was slightly more expensive. I spoke with an etrailer.com expert who gave me the lowdown on both models. Ultimately, the Swagman won out because it has a smaller 'footprint' while extended or folded up ... and also can tilt away from the car for easy access to the hatchback area. Very convenient! FYI: Mazda doesn't make a trailer hitch for the Mazda3 as it's a small car with a small engine and has no business towing anything. Thankfully, the Curt company makes an aftermarket frame and trailer hitch that fits the Mazda3 hatchback perfectly with no drilling. Stupidly, I purchased it from another online company thinking I was getting a good deal. Turns out etrailer.com had it for less with FREE shipping. Oh well ... live and learn. Now I know that etrailer.com is one-stop shopping for bike racks AND trailer hitches. (Full disclosure: I had the garage down the street install the frame as it's easier with a lift) Only snafu: the shipment contained an extra set of keys that I assumed was for the hitch bolt lock (there was also a set of keys on the bolt itself). I spent 15 minutes using those keys trying to figure out how to remove the lock from the bolt to install it on the hitch. The keys just wouldn't turn in the lock. I called etrailer.com and Kevin told me to try the other set of keys ... and they worked. So an extra set of keys came with it that did absolutely nothing ... weird! Obviously, I can't speak to the longevity and durability of the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack as I just installed it. What I can speak to is the sturdiness of it, the ease of the installation and my complete satisfaction with the good folks at etrailer.com.

Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Trailer Hitches - Tilting
I am so happy I chose this rack. As described, this rack is lightweight. For me this was a major concern due to limited strength. If I can lift it then most anyone can. It is well made and sturdy and looks heavier than it is. When folded, it takes up very little space. It will fit in the back of an SUV or trunk. Due to this design and lightweight it is easy to put in the hitch receiver. Even if I only use it to get the bike to and from the bike shop it is well worth it. Can't go wrong.
It was easy to put on our 2013 Lexus 450 hitch. Directions were clear. I liked the sturdiness of the carrier. Very solid with no wobble even over our Santa Fe, NM roads. I have included an extra mystery part picture. Let me know where it goes.

Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Assembled this in 60 minutes! Looking forward to using it this weekend. Working with etrailer was awesome and the item quickly shipped. Great experience!
I installed this rack onto a Curt trailer hitch which is mounted onto a 2017 Honda Fit. I have been using it intermittently for several months, probably about 5 times with one bike and twice with two bikes. I give some pros and cons below and then elaborate. Pros: easy to assemble, easy to mount and dismount bikes, easy to lock and unlock, how to put the rack into different positions is intuitive Cons: inconvenient to put the rack into different positions, inconvenient to mount the rack onto the hitch, rack protrudes about 15 inches from bumper when in flipped up position (seems very vulnerable to someone backing into it in a parking lot, very inelegant looking I say the repositioning is intuitive because there is really only one way you could possibly place the pins for each position. But removing and replacing two pins is much less convenient than turning a knob or a lever, like some racks do. Also many racks fold and flip in such a way as to look very unobtrusive when in non-use mode. This one looks like kind of a monstrosity. That does not really bother me but it might bother some owners. The part that does bother me is how far it protrudes from the car. I back into parking spaces whenever possible to avoid someone bumping into the rack and damaging it (which happened to a friend). My number one suggestion for Curt is related to mounting the rack onto the hitch. Make it easier to tell when the holes are lined up so that the bolt/pin will fit and thread. As it is now, if you insert the rack as far as it can go it is way too far in. Ideally, it would be exactly lined up. Failing that, maybe some kind of click or other feedback to know at least that you are in the neighborhood. It would also be great to have an attaching device that is easier to fasten and unfasten than is the bolt/pin. Tip for mounting the rack onto the hitch: I assumed that it would be awkward to hold, what is it 46 pounds?, while trying to line up the rack probe with the receiver. If you have a garage with exposed collar ties, my solution could work well for you. I looped a cargo strap over a collar tie. Then I hooked both hooks of a bungie onto that loop. The idea is that you hook one of the bike frame holders of the rack onto the bungie, suspending the rack a few inches off the garage floor. This takes most of the weight of the rack so that you can just pull up or down and forward until you line up with the receiver. Tip for mounting bikes. Don't put the little screw into the post that prevents you from completely removing the bike frame holders. Remove both holders. Position the first bike, slide the holder into place, position the second bike, slide the holder into place. I found this makes it much easier, because you avoid parts of the bike hitting the holder as you are trying to get the wheels into place. The trick is that if you are mounting only one bike, don't forget to put the second holder back on - or maybe just stick it inside the car right away.

Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
The products ordered through Etrailer were of good quality. The company was prompt with their sending procedures. Also, if I had questions they answered them immediately. In addition, I had an out of stock order that was sent to me as soon as their stock was re-supplied. The customer service people were great. I would deal with this company anytime with faith that they have reliable products and good service.
Works well for transporting two 29" wheeled mountain bikes. However, after one year it's starting to rust in several areas (see attached photos), and the front wheel arms are becoming increasingly difficult to raise and lower. Finally the locking cable is extremely rusty as you can see in the attached photo. I'm not sure how durable this rack will be long term.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Quick and reliable shipping and was able to take to my mechanic to get it installed and it works perfectly with my bike rack!
This is a very solid product! I have used it for over a year now and love it! I have had up to 3 bikes on this without a problem and have traveled over 8 hours in the car one way with absolutely no issues. Many other bike racks like this one that I see on other cars look unstable this is not unstable in anyway. I did have to file some of the paint off of the rack to get it to fit in my 1 and 1/4" hitch but once that was done it has been perfect. I also bought the locking hitch bolt which is awesome too.
Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe
Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at Etrailer.com.Today on our 2016, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, we're going to be taking a look at the Tule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack. Now, this rack holds up to two bikes, however, if you need to carry an additional one, there is a three bike version available. One thing I did notice we can actually fold the center mass down. with the lever up and swing it away from the car. That way we're going to have plenty of room to get all of our stuff in and out of our hatch. Now, my favorite thing about this rack is that it's made from aluminum. So it's going to be incredibly lightweight and easy to handle, and we're not going to have to worry about any rust or corrosion issues either.
Rola Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe
How's it going, Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport we're going to be taking a look at the Rola TX-102 tilting bike rack. The center mass does fold down to allow us to get access to our hatch, and to do that we'll come down here towards the bottom. It's going to be a pin here that we need to remove, but something I want to point out whenever we remove this pin, there's not going to be anything stopping our rack to come towards the vehicle. So whenever we do this, we want to make sure you got a hand on the rack to support it. Go ahead and remove the clip from the other side of the pin, pull it out, and we can swing it down.

We can even run our integrated lock through our frame and back into itself to deter theft and keep anybody from removing it. When not in use just goes right back into the arm there. Here at the rear we've got a wheel strap going over our wheel and we can ratchet that down into place. One of the best features about this bike rack is it has the ability to tilt away from our vehicle so we can gain access to our rear hatch.

We already have our bike on the rack, we're going to go over how it's strapped down, and also some features, as well. We've got 2 cradles holding our bike in place, with 3 straps, 2 on our frame,, and one as our anti-squeeze rack in the back. To remove 00:00:30 those, we're going to push on each grey lever, and lift up. And we'll save our anti-squeeze strap for last. We want to set our straps off to the side so we won't forget them. We want to put them in your vehicle, or you can replace them whenever you are done taking your bike off.
