Question:

Hi. I am looking for an ebike rack that is also RV certified. I have a Hyundai Santa Fe and a 5th wheeler, and want to carry an ebike with fenders Electra Vale go and a Trek road bike and I want to be able to access the trunk. I was hoping to only purchase one rack but realize that may be a problem and a recommendation for a car rack is my first priority. Thanks

The best bike rack that will carry both an e-bike with fenders and a Trek road bike is going to be the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches item # S94FR. This bike rack is rated to be used on all vehicles, motorhomes, and trailers. It has a 70 lbs capacity per bike. You will still be able to access your rear hatch with the carrier attached but you may have to remove the bikes. I measured the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack # S94FR for you and the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the first wheel tray is about 16".

You may require an adapter bar like item # SR0500 for your Electra Vale's step through frame. Using a setup with the E-Spec does require more pieces, but it will allow you properly secure your bikes and retain the fenders.
