How Wide Is TorkLift PowerArmor Battery Box Base

Question:
My Winnebago Thrive 18FBS travel trailer has a factory 12V battery mount between propane tanks and trailer boxappears standard. The mount fits a battery box with a base width of 7 7/8. Will the TorkLift Battery Box fit? IN other words, is the base width 7 7/8inch or less?

Hi Chris; that 8-3/16" wide measurement listed on the TorkLift PowerArmor # TLA7720R is actually the width of the base, not the lid. Unfortunately, that means this battery box is too wide to fit in your available space. We don't have any others that feature a lock and the aluminum diamond plate construction that would fit there either. The only option would be to modify where you mount it or mount it in another location.
