Looks fantastic! Easy to adjust. Works like it should. I would recommend this product.
Only negative would be that I cannot lower my tailgate with this ball mount as it is tighter to the truck than most.

Pros- looks good, lightweight, easy to adjust. I do like it. Cons- it’s loose. It wiggles around in the receiver. The ballmount wiggles around on the adjustable and the ball itself moves on the mount.

A product that turns a pickup into a truck. Darn thing looks so good, I'm not sure I actually want to hook anything up to it. Going to be used to tow travel trailers, horse trailers and a boat. Has the versatility to accommodate all kinds of tongue heights. Due to my 24" receiver height, I had to get the 10" drop to keep things level. I had initially ordered the 6" drop, and when I realized my short sightedness, the customer service team was excellent in helping me return it for the right product. I'll always go to etrailer first for my truck toy needs.395017

This was a huge upgrade to my previous hitch. The 2 1/2 inch shank is better than my previous 2 inch hitch. It’s better put together, it has wider and heavier parts and the quality is vastly improved. I also love the finish it’s chromed aluminum not polished aluminum like my previous hitch.564294

Really nicely made. I ground off the tab on the back of the drop so I could install the hitch backwards as I back into parking spots and a hitch that sicks out 6 inches just makes my RAM 3500 longer. Not to mention the times I have ran my shins into the old hitch in the past. Bottom ball has 9 inches of clearance on my stock 2019 RAM 4X4. 740018

just got the hitch, and haven't even had a chance to install it and they send an email wanting a review. I didn't realize this hitch doesn't come with a locking pin for the sliding part of the hitch until I opened the box. So I figured ok, I didn't read it very well apparently, I'll go see what those cost. So I clicked the link to this hitch in the email, and find out that the hitch I just ordered 3 days ago, now has a price that's over $xx LESS than what I paid for it. They won't even talk about refunding the difference, just if I want to return it, it will cost me $xx to ship it back.

the normal locking hitch pins you can get at your local auto parts store won't work with this to lock the ball on, because that's 5" wide. I refuse to order anything else from Etrailer ever again, so I'll see if I can make a regular locking hitch pin work by cutting and welding (certified welder) a piece into it. But won't be ordering anything else from this company or this website1569806

I am sorry that you werent able to receive the part for cheaper. Our pricing changes depending on what the manufacturer states the pricing should be. As for a locking pin, you can use part # e98880 for this hitch.

The FA42-00-2925 is a great hitch for the price, I needed the 10” drop to level my one trailer. The finish looks great. The fit is ok, I wish it was a little tighter fit on both the receiver and adjustable slide. I checked other models that were even looser, so went with this one. I didn’t notice any bad rattling from it, I just wish it was a little tighter fit. The one bad thing about it is because I needed the full 10” drop, the bottom ball on hitch would drag when I got in a serve elevation changing condition. If you could remove the bottom ball when not in use, this would completely remove this problem. Other than that it is a great hitch. I also purchased the 2 pcs locking kit for it so it doesn’t get ripped off!602102

We do offer a weigh safe adjustable ball mount part WS10-25 with a 10 inch . The 2 inch ball and 2 5/16 inch ball are removable and interchangeable with each other. There is not a ball on the underside of ball mount so it will not hit the ground when there is low ground clearance.

I have had a flash E series 10 inch drop hitch for about a year. It was delivered very fast. It has not rusted at all and has performered very well. I didnt research the drop of 10 inches enough and my hitch has hit the pavement a couple of times going into rises at gas stations. I could have gotten away with an 8 inch for my stock 2500 2018 GMC truck. I am happy with my purchase. 767364

Did my research.....People really liked the quality of this adjustable shank. I considered several but really liked the higher weight rating of this hitch. I was not disappointed....super beefy and really looks great. I really just needed a good quality adjustable drop hitch....But all the less expensive models had much lower weight limits. I was looking for a hitch that would do it all and look good doing it. So I decided on the Flash E Series HD 2-1/2" with the 10" drop. So far so good. Great looks and adjustability. Overall I am very pleased with this hitch. If I could change anything about this hitch I would make it a bit smaller. I would also make the fitment of the adjustable portion tighter to eliminate any movement and subsequent clunking while towing. A higher trailer tongue weight rating would be great as well. Also this hitch doesn't come with a pin for the receiver end. For the price that should probably be included. Those are the only downsides that I can think of and they are pretty minor. Don't get me wrong this hitch is very nice!
Of course the folks at etrailer.com got it to me SUPER FAST and were very responsive. Amazing service from etrailer.com I wish every company worked like this one.

Love it! It works As designed and has not corroded or discolored. Used approximately 20 days in the first year. FYI for a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 the shank can be flipped up and still have the tailgate down without hitting. At the lowest setting and pulling into a steep driveway the bottom ball can drag. I also got the etrailer keyed alike locks so it doesn’t walk off.726138

I have around 2000 miles of towing on the ball mount now.
I like the easy Adjustment and flip over ball.
I think that aluminum is just to soft for a hitch. The ball is loose in the holder after 2000 miles and the ball holder is also worn.920276

Great hitch, no sway like my old setup that used the receiver adapter to go from the 2.5" one in the Ram to the 2" hitch I had. The chromed balls have some rust forming, but that's to be expected.524376

Great product. Easy to install and adjust. Had it for a year now and very little sign of rust and corrosion (still looks like new). Used it to pull my Ice Castle fish house, my boat, and snowmobile trailer. Planning on getting a large dump trailer to haul dirt and gravel with it next year. Also got the truck stuck last spring and used the hitch to tug it out of the mud with the tractor. I tugged on that hitch hard too - didn't bend or damage it at all. 721013

I bought this draw bar to go with a new truck which has a higher receiver than my previous towing vehicle. I tow various sizes of camper, cargo, and equipment trailers and this draw bar is perfect for quick changes between them - one sits fits all! I also bought the recommend locking pin set and having one key for both is nice. I immediately used this for a 2000 mile towing trip and was completely happy with it. 589065
