Video Transcript for Rear View Safety Inc Backup Cameras and Alarms - Trailer Camera Systems - RVS-776614-213 Review

Today we're going to take a look at the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with the Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit and the two Cameras. Now this backup camera system is perfect for the fifth wheel or travel trailer application where you want a backup camera on the back of the trailer and one reverse camera on the tow vehicle. The system starts with this seven inch TFT Digital LCD color monitor. It's one inch thin, has a nice flexible monitor mount that attaches to it. It does have the mirror image capability. Does also have the distance grid lines if you prefer.

They are optional and can be adjusted. It does use built-in speakers and an auto dimming feature. Has two channels with the automatic system switch and it does come with a wireless remote to operate it. Now the two backup cameras, one here and one right here, the first one, the larger one, is the external rear color camera. Has a 130 degree viewing angle. Does use 18 infrared lights to give you 50 feet of infrared night vision.

Does have a built-in microphone so you can actually hear besides seeing everything. It does have an IP69K rating which means it'll help keep out any dirt and moisture. Now this one here, the smaller one, that's the compact backup camera. Has 170 degree ultra wide viewing angle. Does have night vision and as you can see it's very small. It's a compact cube design so basically it's less than an inch in length, width, and depth.

Does have an IP68 rating so it does protect against complete continuous submersion in water. Now this all comes with all the wires and connectors and mounts that are needed. Now the Trailer Tow Quick Connect and Disconnect Kit is this portion right back here, all these cables here. It starts with the 26 foot vehicle side monitor cable right here. Have the 33 foot camera cable right here. The large one is the 66 foot trailer side camera cable and then this coiled cable right here is a 12 foot quick connect coil cable. This part will come with everything shown here on the table and that should do it for the review of the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with the Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit and the two Cameras..

It has a simple wiring connection between vehicles when towing. This is the best option for quality and functionality. Any local mechanic would have no problem pulling this off.

  • Recommended Installation Point for 2-Camera Backup Camera Systems
With a backup camera system like the Rear View Safety # RVS-776614-213 placing one camera at the rear of the trailer and the other camera along the passenger side is a pretty common set-up. In combination with your driver's side mirrors this arrangement gives you all-around visibility for your car hauler trailer.

  • Recommended Multi-Camera RV Observation System for Towing Travel Trailer
For a complete backup/observation camera system for towing your travel trailer you might consider the RVS Backup Camera System, part # RVS-776614-213. This setup includes two side cameras as well as a heavy-duty backup camera. The system has infrared night vision and includes all required cables and installation hardware. Perhaps best of all it includes a large 7-inch display instead of the often-tiny screens found on other systems. You can refer to the linked video to see the entire kit...

  • Which Trailer Camera System Can Be Used with the Most Cameras
I may have a solution for you to add up to 4 on the same monitor system, but I'm not aware of a system that can accept up to 7 camera feeds that isn't custom designed. The best solution we have available would be something like the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System - 4 Camera Setup - Quad View Monitor # RVS-062710 that would allow you to mount up to 4 cameras wherever you needed. The RVS system has a large 7" color monitor to allow you to easily see the camera feeds. I've linked a...

  • Installation of Wireless Backup Camera # RVS-091406 on 2018 Forest River Palomino Solaire Camper
The Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System # RVS-091406 will allow you to run the camera all the time. You will simply wire the power of the transmitter to your running lights on your trailer instead of your reverse light function. This will allow the camera to stay active anytime the running lights of your trailer are on. It will give you a 130 degree viewing angle as well as 9 infrared lights for night vision. I recommend installing it higher than your bumper, but you can...

Yes, since we have many types of backup and observation camera systems we can help you with a dual-camera model that will give you the kind of visibility you want for both hitching your trailer and safely backing it up. • Backup Camera Recommendations for Back of Fifth Wheel Trailer
I have a few options I recommend for use on an RV or Truck application. That being said I strongly recommend a wired system since they are much more consistent and you never have to worry about interference which is a common complaint with wireless systems. I recommend the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit - 2 Cameras, # RVS-776614-213. This is a completely wired system with a 7 inch monitor with grid lines. • Can Rear View Safety Backup Camera be Wired to be On All the Time
The backup camera kit by Rearview Safety part # RVS-776614-213 that you referenced can be wired so that it can be turned on with a switch to view behind you at all times or just when in reverse. The circuit that activates the system normally wires to the reverse light circuit which tells it to come on when in reverse. Some people will wire the setup to the running light circuit instead so that they can see behind them with that circuit or with just a switch to a 12 volt power circuit active...

  • Camera Setup Recommendation for Class A Motorhome Towing a 24' Enclosed Trailer
For your setup I recommend picking up the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-776614-213 along with the 16' Extension Cable # RVS-102N. This gives you a camera for the back of your Class A motorhome as well as a quick connection and camera for your trailer as well. I recommend using the shorter quick connect with the 16' extension for your trailer side of the connection that way you can use the 66' cable for your longer motorhome. Your setup...

  • Can Wireless Buyers Products RV Camera System Use 2 Cameras and be Used to See Inside Horse Trailer
You definitely can use the Wireless Buyers Products RV Observation Camera System # 3378883200 to observe inside your horse trailer while you're heading down the road. You just have to make sure to connect the power wire for the camera to a constant 12V wire or one that you can manually turn on/off (like your headlights). Then to add a second camera to this kit we have the Observation Camera # 3378882111. The only potential problem you might encounter is that there might be some interference...

  • Recommended Best Wired Trailer Backup Camera System
The best wired backup camera system for your 2021 Rockwood trailer in my opinion is the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit # RVS-770613-213. This is a great quality camera with the monitor and quick disconnect to give you both video and audio. You ask a good question, one we get often, but sadly no, the aftermarket backup and observation camera systems we have are either all-inclusive with their own monitor or they use a smartphone as the display. No systems are meant to integrate into an RV's or a vehicle's in-dash display setup. The camera systems that use your smartphone as the display appear on the linked page. I do have some options for you to add a backup camera to your towing setup, but we do not have anything that will tie in directly to the camera system on your 2018 Ford F-150. The best option would be for you to use the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System # RVS-4CAM which is wireless and comes with 1 backup camera. With that being said, we do have camera systems and TPMS so I can definitely help you out in both aspects.
