Can Rear View Safety Backup Camera be Wired to be On All the Time

Question:
I have a 2007 chevy 2500 and I pull a 14foot enclosed work trailer. I like this two camera system you show but I have a couple questions. 1. When the trailer is attached can I make the camera stay on so I can see traffic behind me? Can I hook it up to a rearview mirror monitor so I dont have a big bulky monitor on my dash causing another blind spot? Thanks in advance

The backup camera kit by Rearview Safety part # RVS-776614-213 that you referenced can be wired so that it can be turned on with a switch to view behind you at all times or just when in reverse. The circuit that activates the system normally wires to the reverse light circuit which tells it to come on when in reverse. Some people will wire the setup to the running light circuit instead so that they can see behind them with that circuit or with just a switch to a 12 volt power circuit active all the time.
There isn't a way to route the signal of this to the included display and a rearview mirror, but for a similar setup that uses a rear view mirror we have the # RVS-776718-BT.
