I have a few options I recommend for use on an RV or Truck application.
I recommend the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit - 2 Cameras, # RVS-776614-213. This is a completely wired system with a 7 inch monitor with grid lines. It will automatically switch between the camera on your truck to the camera on your trailer when connected and has infrared on the trailer camera. It has a simple wiring connection between vehicles when towing. This is the best option for quality and functionality. If you want the monitor in your mirror, you can have a 4.3 inch display in the mirror using # RVS-718.
For an economical option, I recommend the Rampage Wireless Backup Camera for Smartphone or Tablet # RA7710, as an easy wireless option that uses your device as a monitor. You can trade out one unit or get two.
The Hopkins Rear View Camera with Backup Sensors - 2-1/2" LCD, # HM60195VA, cannot be used for for that trailer application but is a nice option for your truck.
