Im putting this on a 2013 CRV and I have a Ready Brute Elite tow bar. Will I need adaptors?

The etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98955 for your 2013 Honda CR-V is compatible with the Ready Brute Elite tow bar if you get the Clevis Adapter part 857768004272 from Ready Brute.

An alternative that you can get through us would be the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2258 along with the Adapter Brackets # BX88297.

Both base plate kits feature removeable arms so in regards to how they look when you aren't towing they are pretty comparable. Installation videos for both base plate kits have been linked for a 2014 CR-V that you can referenced.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
