Question:

Hi, We are looking for Honda CRV 2014 flat-towing installation services in Jupiter florida. We need hitch and flat towing installation services. What type of hitch do I need? Where can I find the installation service for it and flat towing? Is there a different option than U -haul? Thank you.

Hello, thanks for reaching out. Here is a list of parts I recommend for flat towing your 2014 Honda CR-V:

- etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # e98955

- etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # e34ZR

- Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267

- Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes - Proportional # SM99251

- Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400

Keep in mind that fuse(s) must be pulled during towing, so please check your owners manual. If your owner's manual says to only pull the #19 ACC radio fuse, use part # RM76511; if it states to pull the #19 ACC radio fuse and the #20 ACC key lock fuse, use part # RM76512. The # RM-88400 relay is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.

As far as installation services, we may have an installer in your area. I have included a link below to our installer locator. Just enter your zip code and it will show you the full list of installers and dealers in your area.

Hey, how did things go with the flat-towing setup for your Honda CR-V? Did the installer locator help you find a shop in Jupiter to handle the hitch and wiring? Sharing what worked could help others planning a similar tow setup.
