Question:

I am looking for flat tow kits for a Ram 1500 Rebel Truck. Need Base Plate Kit, Tow Bar Kit, Permanently mounted brake system, and light wiring harness. Will be towed with a Super C Diesel motorhome with 20K Lbs towing capacity.

I can definitely get you all set up to flat tow your 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel. I have all the components listed below:

Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Air Brakes - Proportional # SM99243

There are a bunch of options for braking systems, but with your motorhome being a diesel, you will have air brakes. I am very preferential to the Demco Air Force One as it is one of the best on the market and does a very good job. It's the one to get.

Any more trips planned for the summer? It's end is steadily approaching.

Lazer S., Thanks for the quick response. Now I need to find somebody local that can install everything after picking up motorhome etc.? Do you have any suggestions or items from etrailer, for protecting the TOAD from road debris coming from Motor Home? We will be taking a trip to Alaska and will be traveling some pretty sketchy roads.

@JeffG Jealous! Would love to go to Alaska some day! We do have a few options to protect your truck while being towed. I would at least get the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen for Towed Vehicles # RM-4750 as it will do a good job of protecting the front of your truck, but you can also add on the Demco Sentry Deflector for Demco and etrailer Tow Bars # DM9523135 to get the most protection possible (you may need to do some fenagling to get it to work with the Tow Defender Screen though). This would basically be the equivalent of Roadmaster's Alaska Pack # RM38GR for their base plates and tow bars. Have fun on your Alaska trip!

@LazerS. So the Alaska Pack looks like the easiest to work with, but I would need to switch to Roadmaster setup as well?

@Jeff You would need to go with a Roadmaster base plate and tow bar, but they currently do not have a base plate that will work with Rebel or Rebel X models. This will likely change in the future, but I can't say when that will be.
