Best Parts To Flat Tow 2019 Ram 1500 New Body Style With 3.6L Engine

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 crew cab Lonestar 4x4 3.6l V6 NOT classic body. I am needing info on a list of parts i would need to tow my pickup behind my motor home.

We do have all the parts you need to flat tow your 2019 Ram 1500 with the new body style and 3.6L engine, and I'd be happy to make a list for you so you know what to get. That said, all of the parts needed to flat tow your truck are as follows:
- Base Plate Kit: Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519341
- Tow Bar: Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524
Since your Ram 1500 has the 3.6L engine, you will need the Demco base plates for a fit; these are a really nice option because they do allow your truck to maintain a clean look when you aren't flat towing, as you can see in the accompanying photo of these base plates installed on a 2019 Ram 1500.
The Commander II tow bar is the best option because it allows the truck to maneuver easily behind your motorhome due to its long arms, and has integrated safety cables and an adjustable tilting head so a high-low adapter won't be needed. Having these features on a tow bar means you won't have to purchase them separately, saving you additional expenses.
The Flexo-Coil wiring kit is a really nice option for your Ram because it is designed specifically to prevent any type of electrical feedback, to your truck, which means its electrical system will stay safe. The Brake Buddy is a great braking system because it allows you to control the braking power and sensitivity, and the fact it is portable means you won't have to make any permanent installs in your Ram.
The only other thing I recommend, in order to keep your truck safe from dents and dings from road debris while you are towing it, is the Sentry Deflector for Demco Tow Bars # DM9523135.
