Hello, neighbors, I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Replacement Latch Kit for your Roadmaster Falcon or your BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain Tow Bars. So again, folks, this is a simple replacement kit for the non-binding latches on your Roadmaster Falcon or your Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain Tow Bars. Now you're gonna get the two latches, the two pins, the two springs, and the three retainer rings. Now those guys are super small. Make sure you're careful when you take them off of the current one, or if you're replacing them and putting the new ones on.

Be very, very careful. Those go around the tip here on the two pins. Folks, this will come with a nice set of instructions as well. Make sure you read them carefully, and just take your time and I think you'll have no problem whatsoever replacing these latches. Well, that's gonna do it for our look today at this Replacement Latch Kit.

I was concerned about installing this myself but the instructions were great and the parts went together just as described. Fortunately, there were three snap rings included since I damaged one when I put the first latch in. Be careful with them. They are small and can easily be spread too wide and be distorted.

Perfect service and delivery. One install note is the snap ring pliers needed are 1mm point. Super small snap ring pliers to fit the tiny snap rings in the repair kit. Thanks for the quick delivery and follow-thru by etrailer customer service.

I ordered the rebuild kit for my Roadmaster towbar along with new bushings from Kaylyn on 3/12 and received the parts on 3/18. That’s really fast service, and Kaylyn was very sharp about what I needed and only what I needed. Rebuilt the towbar yesterday and now it’s like new and I can collapse it like it was designed to do, previously I could not telescope the drivers side arm so it was difficult to hook up and unhook car.   • Replacement Swivel Collar for Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar by Roadmaster RM-522
    It is always smart to replace any components that have received damage as some damage might compromise the integrity of your equipment. I also recommend inspecting the rest of your tow bar for any other signs of damage. The Swivel Collars used to be side-specific, but were redesigned in 2014 so that you could use them on either side. The Replacement Swivel Collar, part # RM-9200-6, is the correct replacement part that you need for your Falcon All Terrain Roadmaster Tow Bar.

    Not at all. The arm for your All Terrain tow bar can really be in whatever position to install the Replacement Latch Kit # 910003-45. When I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster he said that it's best if it's retracted all the way, but in all reality it doesn't really matter.

    The springs you are inquiring about can be replaced with the Replacement Latch Kit part # 910003-45. I would not say that they absolutely need to be replaced as the issue you have is likely related to the bushings but it is also not a bad idea to replace them at the same time as the bushings because you will have the tow bar apart and they will be easy to access.
