This tri-ball mount slides into the 2" receiver on your tow vehicle, and can be adjusted to tow trailers that have different coupler heights and different coupler ball sizes. To switch the ball, simply remove the spindle pin, rotate the block with the balls until you have the right size ball in place, and reinsert the pin. You can also rotate the block to the treaded platform for a convenient step to help you get up into your truck bed. To adjust the height, remove the pin that secures the ball mount platform to the shank, and move the platform up or down until the desired height is achieved.

  • Difference Between Class IV and Class V Trailer Hitch
The big differences between a Class IV and a Class V hitch are the capacities and the opening size. Class IV is going to be a 2 inch hitch opening that has tongue weights typically up to 1,200 lbs and total trailer weight of 12,000 lbs. For a Class V hitch the capacities bump up to 20,000 lbs for the total trailer weight and 2,000 lbs tongue weight. Typically this hitch will have a 2-1/2 inch hitch opening but there are some 2 inch sizes available. For more info on the differences between...

The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 37130 is a Class IV trailer hitch with a 2" receiver opening that is confirmed to fit your 2001 Ford F-150 and will allow you to keep your full spare in it's current location. This has a 7,000 lbs Gross Towing Weight (GTW) rating and a 700 lbs Tongue Weight (TW) rating. When used in conjunction with a Weight Distribution (WD) system those ratings are bumped up to 12,000 lbs GTW and 1,200 lbs TW. I have attached the installation details for you to...

We do have the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5.5" Rise - 10K - Browning # BWTS10048BB which has a pin hole farthest from mounting block dimension of 5-5/8 inches. Another option with the same depth measurement is the # BWTS10047BB which has a 3 inch drop. These are the only B&W hitches that have the 3-Ball option that will fit your bumper. I recommend the hitch lock # BWTS51234 to secure your investment.

For the 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin holes I recommend our etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98882. These stainless steel hitch locks feature a patented pick-proof screw-and-lock security and all weather grips for improved handling. Once on the product page, simply select "Keyed Alike" on the drop-down menu and both locks you are needing will use the same key. • Correct Shank for Pro Series Tri-Hitch Ball Platform
Thanks for reaching out and providing photos! The head of your Reese Weight Distribution System part 113913 is designed to fit a shank with flush sides where the bolts secure like what we see with part part # RP54970, but the Replacement Hitch Ball Platform # PS63075 installs on shanks that have a groove on the sides like what we see with the part # 63911. When installing the Draw-Tite Hitch # 76288 on your 2021 BMW X5 (without the M Sport package), you first need to use a 13mm socket to remove 2 nuts from the exhaust (1 each side). Next, you will disconnect the back-up sensor wiring and hands free sensor. In order to access the top mounting fasteners, you need to lower the tailgate. Once you have completed the rest of the installation steps, you will re-install the sensors. You will still be able to use the sensor with the hitch installed...

There are three pins on the Pro Series Adjustable 3-Ball Mount part # 63070; one to rotate the tri-ball assembly (spindle pin), one to remove the tri-ball assembly (shank pin), and one to hold the shank inside of the receiver tube (hitch pin). In order to remove the tri-ball assembly you will need to pull the spindle pin and then slide the tri-ball assembly down and off the vertical shank. Therefore, if you have the shank pin pulled then the tri-ball assembly will separate. The tri-ball...

  • Is the Reese Weight Distribution Shank Only For Weight Distribution
The Reese Weight Distribution Shank - 16,000 lbs # RP54998 is typically used for a weight distribution system. It can, however, be used as a ball mount. This shank style would work with the Replacement Hitch Ball Platform for Pro Series Adjustable 3-Ball Mount - 14K # PS63075 which would make it an adjustable ball mount similar to the Pro Series Adjustable 3-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 4-3/4" Drop, 5-11/16" Rise - 14K # 63070.

  • Availability of Spindle Pin and Clip Replacement for the Pro Series Adjustable 3-Ball Mount
The spindle pin and clip for the Pro Series Adjustable 3-Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # 63070 has a 3/8" diameter and while there aren't any replacements, when I reached out to my contact at Pro Series he mentioned that you can use a standard 3/8" pin to replace this one instead of purchasing a new platform # PS63075. The closest thing we have that would fit is the Bulldog Adjustable Coupler Lock # BD580410 but it uses a 1/4" diameter pin so it won't fit as snug in that spindle pin location.

Most class V hitches will use a 2-1/2 inch receiver opening (although there are a few exceptions that use a 2 inch receiver) and will have towing capacities up near or to 20,000 lbs towing/2000 lbs tongue weight capacity.
